Can someone explain to me why a monster who is blind can wipe out an opponent? I thought blind meant they would miss, but I guess I am wrong. I just watched a monster who I specifically saw it say he was blinded wipe out a monster. What is the point of blind if it doesn't work?

Post count: 169Reputation: 70Joined:@C0ntr1v3d Any thing on why monsters can have blind AND precision active at the same time ? does it cancel out or does the skill first hit for -50% accuracy and then again with +50% ???
Predaking~~The Predacons are a subgroup of Decepticons who transform into powerful, savage animals.

I believe they used to override and replace one another but now effectively cancel one another - will test later.

Precision is not removing Blind or viceversa. They "negate" themselves (+50 -50 =+0)
Same is happening with Damage modifiers. We need to define and decide the behaviour of those status.
No they don't. I had a monster blinded and with precision and it missed an effect on a non hardened/tough/bukwark monster.
Also the same with daze+precision.Perhaps they negate eachother in terms of chance to actually hit a monster but they don't negate eachother when it comes to effects.
If it is not intended to work as it does now, feel free to fix it.My time has come.

Post count: 410Reputation: 545Joined:Hi Rage. Blind or Precission modify the "first roll" of an attack (the one you see in the game)
Then, there is another roll (where hardened modifies the result) but not being affected by Precission or Blind (but there is a small chance to miss)

Post count: 20Reputation: 16Joined:Location: Minnesota@Carlos This brings up something I was wondering about. If Burotgor is already blinded and he uses Bloodthirsty, do the blindness effects stack? That is to say, does he lose 50% of the 50% he's already lost, bringing his accuracy down to 25%?

We should not be able to stack two identical status effects. This means that you cannot Blind + Blind (any monster).
But you could Blind + Daze + Sunburn (-50-25-15) Leaving it at a -90 Accuracy. A lot of pieces, but almost a denial.Keep it Simple

I'm aware that we are not giving those information anywhere. Is on my plate to deliver a place where players can check the rules of the game, so it is easier for them to take decisions in combat
Meanwhile, ask whatever you need (This "Rulebook" can take time)Thanks!

Post count: 90Reputation: 51Joined:I need confirmation that precision and blind don't affect status effects
Skills : 90%accuracry AOE + 50%accuracy = 135% (multiplicative)
Skills :
*Tough =65% chance to land + 50% accuracy buff =97.50% chance*Hardened = 80% chance to land + 50% accuracy =120% chance
*Bulwork = 50% chance to land + 50% accuracy = 75% chance
Effects:
How do effects work With +50% accuracy1.35 * .8 = 1.08 = 108% for hardened
1.35 * .65 = .8775 = 87.75% for tough
1.35 * .5 = .675 = 67.5% for bulwark@Carlos
Can someone confirm this ?ttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1wF2dUFXnBhbxIENQCeadUsCWvsgYisoGrAqbzQ-oEHc/edit#gid=0 (add an H to the beginning)

Post count: 90Reputation: 51Joined:How is the accuracy of status effects calculated with regards to precision/blind and traits that reduce status effect accuracy? What is formula, specifically?
It's clearly not the case that precision has no affect on the accuracy of status effects. If that was the case, you would still have 50% accuracy with status effects against bulwark and our testing proved the chance of it being only 50% is astronomically low. Basically 0. In a sample of 115 uses of a 90% accuracy aoe with precision against a monster with bulwark, status effects landed 81/115 times. Roughly a 70.4% chance.
@Carlos
@Fox do you have any insight into this ?
