This may just be me but I have been disappointed in how the lore behind the Nemesis monsters have been executed recently. Hydratila and Lucifire have done well with the lore, having stories of why they hate their repsective General and that they have a Skill in the format of "Name of General, Pg #". These two also have ways to counter the Generals, i.e. skills and traits. Warthak had a story but didn't have any "Atum, Pg #" skill. His trait was more to also stop other Elements than only his own. Samael came out and I feel the idea of the lore was pushed to the side. He may have a story and, like before, also didn't have a "Nishant, Pg #" skill and the skills he had were made to be in the term of "broken". Overall, I mostly love how these monsters have been released. Lore-wise, I feel the idea was just forgotten.

Group 4 skills are more powerful than the special/ultimate skill.

Post count: 0Reputation: 0Joined:@Keith-Romberg Nobody compared his special to his skill group 4. Szymon said that in the update samael's story stated that his special skill (Cheating The Death/Not Today/Death is not the End) were going to revive/resurrect his allies, but that wasn't the case.

i think it is a bit off topic .. but even more off topic you can access G4 skills without ranking ,, just choosing all g3 skills will unlock G4 ones

Nemesis Lore
Post count: 429Reputation: 554Joined:@TheAlexDex, we will give our best to try to keep well with the nemesis lore.
Some of the of the Nemesis searched for the books containing powerful spells that they could use against they most hated ones. In the case of Warthak (not very reading-friendly), he got entertained with the home-made liquors of the librarians. He increased his power after the assault, but not due to the learnings in the books.
Other members of the Nemesis group were not in the Library Raid, but joined after upon request. As in the case of Samael. So this is why he is neither using any scroll. This is Samael's Lore, (I was not aware it was removed too soon :()
Samael was once a soldier in the Good Legions. He was flawless in battle and fair in judgement. But this all changed one day, when General Nishant captured Samael’s little brother Ismael, crushed him and turned him into cursed Elementium, which he used to gain strength.
It was then that Samael became obsessed with life and death. He started delving into black magic and investigating ways to punish General Nishant for having taken his brother’s life. He made pacts with the Lords of Hell, trading secrets of the Good Legions for the power to resurrect monsters from the dead. The extraordinary new ability that Samael had acquired soon drew the attention of the leaders of the Good Legions, and it wasn’t long before they found out that he had sold their most precious secrets in exchange for his new powers. Samael was immediately banished from the Good Legions. However, at this point, he didn’t care: he could resurrect whoever he wanted in battle! Maybe someday he would even be able to bring back his brother.
A soldier of the Good Legions being kicked out and acquiring resurrection powers is such an unusual event that it hasn’t gone unnoticed by the Evil Legions: Dark monsters are fascinated by law-breaking sorcery and cursed half lives. Naturally, Samael quickly gathered followers from the Evil Legions. With his new collection of admirers, time for vengeance has arrived: the death of Ismael shall be avenged, and General Nishant will pay the high price of handing his own army to Samael.Keep it Simple

Nemesis Lore
Post count: 193Reputation: 110Joined:Hi @Carlos , I appreciate your designs and the stories behind the monster, however I m wondering why is the metal version of Samael armed to be Thetys' nemesis as well? Also his trait is not specific to Dark nor does it have much to do with countering General nishant. Too many people bought him now to nerf him I guess but the PvP is really getting insane when you can't refresh and 3 of your opponents have him at 130, sometimes they even have 2, there is no way to counter him , stamina drain was the only thing we had against VIPs. This one can remove buffs, debuffs in one move, can resurrect, has extra turns (so he can bypass a possession even if it were to land), 0 stamina moves...He s pretty much a combination of Demise (+ precision), Hydratila, Barbatos, Uriel's signature skills with the best trait (which again has not much to do with being a Dark nemesis unlike the first 2 nemesis that came out ) in the game and one of the highest speed and HP, with none of the downsides that these monsters other monsters have .. Maybe it's a little much to put this all in one.
It ruins war strategy a little to have him in play IMO especially since he's in so many books. I hope the next Nemesis are more...huh I'm not going to say "balanced" but you get the gist.
Best regards
