Ok since your last update i have not been able to fight in multiplayer. Everytime i try i get matched with 3 level 100 monsters. I do not have 1 level 100 monster and am not gonna fight an unfair fight. Atleast match me with other people in my skill level. I really like this game and its the only game i play on my phone. If this doesnt get fixed i will DELETE THE GAME. Thanks in advance..

Matchmaking in multiplayer really bad now
Post count: 1758Reputation: 527Joined:@Rick-Riker Try looking at your battle log. See if there are any revenge fights that you can handle. It is probably the only way to find decent battles.
Meme-master in his own mind.

Matchmaking in multiplayer really bad now
Post count: 143Reputation: 79Joined:@Kaiju That's not really gonna fix anything, here's why:
The way matchmaking works is that it looks for opponents FAR BEYOND your own trophy score, meaning that taking revenge on that player yields less than half the points you lose when suffering any loss really.
Revenge wins net me from 0 (yeah that happened and I was like "what?") to 20 trophies, while losing when my shield is down drops me by 30-35 on average.
Matchmaking is in fact broken, for example my main pvp deny monsters are level 100 and one 115 (race reward monster) and since the "refresh button removal" update I couldn't get a single attack in. At barely 4k for Legendary IV I get matched with opponents ranking 4400 and higher, as you imagine with fully ranked, 130 legendaries that I don't stand a change against. I can't even afford to give it a try because I'd lose twice as much trophies and I want to stay in my current league for the rewards. I don't even take revenge battles because even if I win, when my shield is down I'm bound to lose more points than I've gained. It's a broken and flawed system.
Ironically it's the same broken matchmaking that kept me in Legendary IV (I won quite some defenses, again vs players way below my own ranking as I'm only being attacked by players with 3600-3700 trophies)... silver linings I suppose.
My advice in dealing with this issue is very simple - broaden the pool of players' rankings in the matchmaking system. Right now it obviously works by searching for players 300-400 points above you. Make it so it searches for players from -100 to +200 so it's more fair.
To those who think how is it fair that you search for "weaker ranked players", well there is already a drawback in the sense that you get less points for winning such a battle. Plus we do already take revenge on players 400-300 points behind us, at least those who can afford to. I certainly can't. With the current system I'm discouraged from participating in pvp because I'm literally better off just not picking any fights, and that alone says how sorely it requires fixing.
