@Laurene-Carlson said in Feedback: Battle Chart changes: NEW Rules! 24/ 10/ 2017:
My dragons are my pets, my pupils,my friends! I know them, I count on them! And you are changing them on me! First to change what some of my oldest must favorite dragons look like, now you are making it so I can't count on my battle dragons to do what I have trained them up to do?
Understandable take, routine is always good but since this is battle we're talking about then shouldn't change be expected? It's a great opportunity to formulate different attack chains and get acquainted with past dragons that you'd ordinarily not even consider for battle.
The old system might not have always made sense but it seems to me as if you have changed some of the ones that really did make sense like water being weak against the fire. Why is water now weak against nature? That does not make sense to me.
Nature thrives off of water, we also know that plant life helps keep water at bay(during floods.) It's actually understandable, imo.
These changes do not seem to me to be fair to us long time faithful Dragon Masters who have worked long and hard and put a lot of persistence into earning the place we have, who know are dragons abilities inside and out, I'd have changed particular dragons up for particular jobs! I mean I have my breeding dragons, my warrior dragons, I have even named particular dragons so and so's "Bane" as I count on them to fight particularly difficult enemies that I encounter on a regular basis( mainly certain heroic class dragons)! It was bad enough when you switched to the common to wrote class scale and I felt almost like I had had major relationships broken up because I had to stop using some of my best and favorite Fighters when they were classed as common (even though they're still relatively difficult to breed) and they suddenly couldn't fight well at all!
True, as one of those people I can attest that it is a shake up of my DC regimen, I've switched around my pvp team and lost battles I'd ordinarily win but I've actually retained a curious interest in the daily pvps that I had lost. These changes have actually made battling interesting again for me.
People who can be counted on to keep at something with persistence really like things that they can count on, things that remain consistent. Faithful players want a faithful game!
I am not sure how much longer I will be interested in pouring time and resources into My beloved of dragons if I cannot depend on them still being there. If I never know when and what you might change next! I know you're just trying to make things more interesting for people with shorter attention spans and I don't mind when you come up with new games within the game I don't mind too much when you change some graphics and rules, but please stop messing with the characters of my dragons! Maybe next time you have a shiny new idea for making a better game you can just make a new game for all those people who like new stuff to sign up for?

Haha, I'm wondering how you faired when new quest formats were introduced a while ago. Adaptation is a skill you should always have at the ready.
