Hello everyone and welcome to my 191st analysis, this time featuring Nadiel the Flooder.
Flooder has an excellent trait that allows him to face monsters such as Frostwrath and Kihaku easily in the Dragon book. Not only that, but he also has 3476 Base Speed, which is important to gain the jump on Mountezuma, General Darmith and all Lucifire forms, and to tie with Kihaku, Ihtiander and Frostwrath. An AOE 100% Damage Reduction, combined with his Burning and Ignite immunity renders most Fire monsters completely helpless against the move, and combining all of these features makes Flooder one of the top picks in the Dragon book. Despite these pluses, Flooder isn't without his flaws, as being a Nature monster in a book which is abundant in Fire types makes things harder for him, and having "Guard Down", an effect which just guarantees all attacks landing on the target of the debuff, as your signature debuff isnt exactly the best thing.

Movesets:
-Paterswoldse
-Protect Ecosystem
-Pack Nature Pact/Endangered Ecosystem
-Nature Pact/Druzhby/Endangered Ecosystem
Runes: 3 Speed
(If you have all Group 3 moves learned on a Nemesis monster at the same time, the next time you'd normally learn a Group 3 move, a Group 4 move will show up instead. Using this method it's possible to have 2 Group 4 moves on a level 100 Nemesis, by replacing the 4th move you have with the Group 4 you're offered, then replacing one of the Group 3 moves with the other Group 4.)

Paterswoldse is Flooder's AOE Freze which makes him a denier, and this attack being Water-based is very valuable in a book filled with Fire monsters. Protect Ecosystem is an unresisted Base 40 AOE move which applies 100% Damage Reduction to all targets hit, rendering attackers helpless unless they have an extra turn move. Pack Nature Pact is a Nature based AOE that applies Guard Down to all enemies, which makes them unable to dodge attacks. If you find the status effect weak, then Endangered Ecosystem acts as a more supportive move that can help if you lose the Speed tie against an enemy denier, especially a Freeze denier with an added Heal bonus. Lastly, Nature Pact greatly improves Flooder's performance on defense and can act as an immensely useful pseudo-deny just like Protect Ecosystem. Druzhby is another alternative that Freezes a single target and hits relatively hard. If you picked Pack Nature Pact in the third slot, Endangered Ecosystem can be used here as well. 3 Speed makes Flooder as fast as possible in order for him to deny opponents or apply his 100% Damage Reduction.

Teammates: Flooder finds it easy to fit on all teams thanks to being a denier and having useful buffs and debuffs.

Countering Nadiel the Flooder: Ihtiander and Kihaku Speed-tie with Flooder and can deny him with their Stun and Possession, respectively, though it'll be tricky due to his trait including the "Tough" trait of Generals. In Dragon, finding a counter to Flooder is very difficult, but in other books they are rather easy to find since monsters with Speed higher than 3476 are starting to become more common: Krampus, Jasastur, Baba Yaga and Boltcaster are just the beginning of a long list. If you don't have a faster denier, then having a Freeze immunity will serve well, though you would still have to deal with his 100% Damage Reduction.
