Hello,

There is currently a n expansion event going on and the 6th island (Shadow one in the bottom right corner) is available for 25 gems on my device. I have the gems and already tried to buy it ~3 times.
Every time i buy it, it gives a crash message: "Something didn´t work. Please restart your game"

I can´t seem to make the purchase work, even after restarting the game multiple times.

Do you had the prevoous island fully purchased? If so try clearing n your cache. And restarting your device. If that doesnt work submit a ticket to support.

What do you mean by fully purchased?

I have almost the entire 5th island, but only 1 spot on the fourth island.

Do i have to purchase all expansions of the previous islands, before i can purchase the next island?

@Endolymp You can only purchase the next island when you bought all expansions from the previous one.

Ok, so i tried purchasing the expansions of the islands i already have unlocked, and even tho i have all required neighbors and Gold it doesn´t work.

I can click the buy expansion button, i can select the expansion area and it shows the expanded area as unlocked.

After 5-15 secs i will get a message that says:
We´re experiencing problems with our servers, please check back later.

This has happened for the last week and i have no idea why. It always pops up shortly after i unlock a new area and the area resets once i restart the game. Haven´t seen that message anytime else while playing the game.

@Endolymp submit a support ticket. In the meantime you could try it on a different device.

Ok, i contacted support and apparently my game data seems to believe i haven´t unlocked the third island yet, so i can´t buy any expansions on island 4 and 5 (which i have unlocked and dragons on) or the 6th island.

The bug was added to a bug list, but since that video from 2 years ago shows the exact same bug i believe the chances of it getting fixed anytime soon are pretty low.

I just came back after a couple years to my account. I started in 2014 for ~2 months. I believe i bought the islands. Maybe the 3 year break has something to do with it?
Just tested on mobile and PC.

PC: Can buy expansion (Shadow Island available), but get the error message as posted in the initial report.

Mobile: Can´t buy any expansions (says i don´t have any available expansions), only Lava island available.

Edit. Also good to mention that i already have all expansions on island 5 except one, so at one point in the past i must have been able to purchase those.

Unfortunately i don´t know how to show you the mobile screen, but the only thing that differs is that i can´t buy any expansions except the Lava island.
