As many are well aware, PVP currently does not provide reasonable opponents for over 90% of players (based on my crude estimate). It is not liked by most, and there are plenty of topics over it, so we will not go there.
However, it creates a whole other problems for players if PVP is tied to any event progression or earning of currency. For example:
Maze coins - players who can routinely find targets and win in PVP will receive much more maze coins overall in maze events. This advantage is likely unintentional, as I can't imagine newer players with sub lvl 100 monsters being pitted against opponents with lvl 100+ monsters is very fair for them. Same with the players with sub lvl 130 monsters pitted against lvl 130s on a regular basis.
Team Race - we know PVP tasks has been in team race before, but if it appears again in this current iteration of PVP, it might as well be another task teams have to use gems to get thru.
Progressive Islands - thankfully the last one we had PVP was taken out, but if it was still a part required for progression, it is not feasible.
Hence, dear SP team, please take note of these problems, and kindly consider removing ties of PVP to your other events.
