Quite a good monster here, on sale for 249 gems, however, I can't get more than 1, not an endgame player, (late game, lvl 95), could 1 copy of this monster still be justified if I can equip high level runes on him ?

@PredakingX You have the right skill set for him. You need Dead Men Tell No Tales, plus the AOE burn and the AOE stun. I also run ALL ABOARD, as it is good for wars and bosses. However, in dungeons on auto play, the AI often uses ALL ABOARD as his first move FFS.

I have him at level 100, but I run 2 level 4 strength runes, and 1 level 4 speed rune. Copperbeard is one of the best metal/mechanical, and clearly worth 249 gems.

He's good, but they should add him to another book. I would use Hackster and Timerion before him, and they are all in the same element and book restrictions.
