Seems like every new monster is now being immediately put in the Good Legions or Evil Legions books. They are overcrowded now.

Is there a reason SP are doing this? Maybe an upcoming war in the storyline where players must choose sides?

Uh because you have to be one or the other?

Obviously there is since they, who owns the game, decided we do. And if you ask me why do we need a Male or Female, obviously they are all one or the other, so this falls into the same boat as Good and Evil.

But maybe the whole idea is choose, but choose wisely and don't give into the Dark Side! You don't know the POWER of the Dark Side!

To me not every monster should be good or evil. I always found it strange that Goldfield is in Evil Legions, since to me he seems a very obvious 'neutral' character.

And why does every monster need to be male or female? Yilitre could very well be omnisexual. Regardless of that, the female book always seemed a bit silly to me. Just as if gender matters to categorise monsters, and it only puts on emphasis on male being the 'standard'.

@Ekto-Gamat We do need more male monsters tbh. But I guess SP know their main playerbase is male, that is why more emphasis is on producing females.
