Hello everyone and welcome to my 206th analysis, this time featuring Xiron the Emerald.
Overview: Here's the forgotten little brother of Xiron the Ruby. Emerald is arguably much weaker than Ruby, since his weapon-based attacks just apply Poison and Stun whereas Ruby's apply Ignite and 2 random deny effects. His Base Speed is lower at 3498 as well. However, make no mistake as Emerald is still probably better than your average denier. Like all Xirons, Emerald has a vast array of deny effects, with which he can disrupt all kinds of enemies. All Xirons also share the same powerful trait of Tough + Possession Immunity, making them harder to deny. This is also the only Xiron form with an AOE that has a definite deny effect, and while it's incomparable to Ruby's, it still reduces the RNG element against monsters that have multiple immunities like Freeze and Possession Immunity.

Builds:
Monsters that have access to Group 4 skills will have a slightly different build path. I will list the most viable builds for each Rank since some moves in Group 4 are pivotal to some sets' success. The monster's role will likely remain the same, however, so this won't be exhaustingly long as I won't repeat the same things.

Rank 0:
Moves:
-Total Exhaustion
-Control Dice
-High Wage/Emerald Implosion
-Major Exhaustion
Runes: 3 Speed
Mutant Rune options: Speed&Life
Relics: Masks and Staves

Build Explanation:
Total Exhaustion denies its target by draining all of its Stamina. Control Dice is Emerald's only AOE deny at this point, despite having a 50% chance to land its effects. The third slot goes to another single target deny move, with Control Wage applying a random deny effect and Stamina Leak to its target. However, if you don't like the RNG in it, you may choose to run Emerald Implosion to simply Stun the target and Poison it. Lastly, Major Exhaustion is nice to follow Total Exhaustion up, plus it puts pressure on all enemies.
3 Speed with Life Mutations is a standard on deniers.

Rank 1: Emerald learns "Mineral Blood" at this level, a single target CD Activation.
Moves:
-Major Exhaustion
-Total Exhaustion
-Control Dice
-Mineral Blood
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Mineral Blood's power against Artifacts, plus the diversity it adds to Emerald's arsenal of deny effects makes it a must have move.**

Rank 2: Emerald learns "Laying Odds" at this level, a Base 55 Magic AOE that applies Stamina Leak and a random deny effect to all enemies.
Moves:
-Major Exhaustion
-Total Exhaustion
-Laying Odds
-Mineral Blood
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Laying Odds is an improved Control Dice, finally giving Emerald the AOE deny move he needs. It has much higher Base Power than said move, and the deny is guaranteed.

Rank 3: Emerald learns "Emerald Explosion" at this level, a Base 45 Nature AOE that applies Poison and Stun to all enemies.
Moves:
-Emerald Explosion
-Total Exhaustion
-Laying Odds
-Mineral Blood
Runes and Mutant Runes are the same as given above.

Build Explanation:
Emerald Explosion is yet another AOE deny, and while it's weaker than Laying Odds in all senses, it's still very much worth running because you can use the two attacks after one another to deny all enemies for 2 turns (if Laying Odds doesn't Stun any enemy). The Poison it applies is nice too.
