Dear community,
Welcome to the PVP Arenas!
Are you the one to claim the title of top Dragon Master in the world? Accept the challenge and prove your might!
Fight other real Dragon City players to climb the Arenas and Leaderboards to become the MASTER OF MASTERS! New Arenas, exclusive rewards & more Dragons with an exciting surprise to come, will be waiting for you there!
First of all, please note that the Arenas are unlocked at Level 11.
Once you start this new adventure, you will automatically be placed in the appropriate Arena based on your Dragon Master Level and you will be given the rewards accordingly.
The Arenas are Element specific:
The Arenas are based on elements in the game, this means that if you use a dragon with the same element as the Arena you are currently in, you can gain advantages over your opponents such as health or damage boosts! So choose your team wisely!

Why can't I use Heroic Dragon in some Arenas??
All of the Arenas have certain rules to follow. These are based on elements, rarities and levels. The Rules change from Arena to Arena.
In some of them, you won't be able to use your 'H' dragons (Beginner, Terra, Flame and Sea).
But don't worry because in higher Arenas (starting in the Nature Arena), you will be able to use your powerful Heroic Dragons!
The Arenas!
*Pictures are taken from the Beta version. Numbers are not final and more Arenas might be added.
To Climb the Arenas and the Leaderboards you need to collect Trophies. You gain Trophies by defeating your fellow Dragon Masters in the Arena battles.
In the top 3 Arenas, Trophies are reset every 3 weeks to give all players an equal shot at the MASTER OF MASTERS Title to win exclusive top Dragons, other great rewards and of course the glory!
This means that every 3 weeks there will be a new MASTER OF MASTERS, so compete and win that highest honor!

How can you access the Arenas?
Easy! You will have 2 different ways to access the Arena. Tap on:
- Battle ‘VS’ icon
- Trophy Icon (left side of the screen!)
*This picture is an example.
Now go forth and battle to victory!
What Are Trophies?
You gain Trophies by defeating your fellow Dragon Masters in the Arena battles.
You need as many Trophies as you can get to climb the Arenas and Leaderboards to become the MASTER OF MASTERS!
You can see how many Trophies you have at any time from:
- The Trophy Icon in your Main Islands below your game Level
- In the PVP Arena
Trophies are won or lost either when you attack other players or when they attack you.
When another player has attacked you, you will see a pop up in your game. You will have Trophies added if you won the battle or deducted if you lost.
If you lose Trophies, this can also cause you to be demoted in your Arenas: Example; You were in the Flame Arena I, but lost some battles, you would be demoted to the Terra Arena II. So KEEP training your dragons so they are the best!
How can I get into the next Arena?
Once you have completed the first arena by fighting and gaining Trophies, you will be automatically promoted to the next one. You will also be rewarded with a new Dragon which is useful for the next Arena… and the new Dragons have really cool special attacks!!
Promoting between Arenas of the same kind (Element) does not reward a Dragon.
To see how many Trophies you need to gain to advance please see the Arenas Tab inside the Arena.
You can be demoted to the lower Arena if you lose your battles! Don't worry, you won't lose your Dragons... they will just need a little rest.
Please note - You only get the Arena Dragon rewards ONCE (the first time you are promoted to a new Arena) and if you're demoted and promoted again, you don't get the reward a second time.
Can I Lose Trophies?
Yes, you can. Each time you lose a battle, your Trophy count gets reduced.
Trophies are LOST or WON either when you attack other players or when they attack you.
Losing trophies can also cause you to be demoted in your Arenas.
Example: You were at the Flame Arena I, but lost some battles, thus some Trophies, you would be demoted to the Terra Arena II.
How do I join PVP Arena Battle?

New Arena Dragons!
Dragon Master,
They fight for you! So let's get to know our newest family members!
Bjorn Dragon
Bjorn Dragon was brought into the Terra Arena as a young cub and has since made it his home. He has eschewed the bells and whistles of other arenas, keeping it austere and akin to his rugged nature. Nothing more appropriate as the scene of the brutal combats held in it.
Katsumoto Dragon
When Katsumoto Dragon was born, he was so hot that he scorched everything around him. That’s why is confined to the Flame Arena, feeding on fire from the surrounding volcanos that erupt when he is enraged. We have seen the end of many who dared step into this cauldron.
Lancelot Dragon
Lancelot Dragon is the rock star of dragons, and his noble feats, some of which are the stuff of legend, have earned him a devoted fan base. His reputation extends far and wide, but when challenged, the clear streams of the Water Arena aren’t enough to cool off his rage.
Fury Dragon
Fury Dragon is not deliberately evil, but he was born with a mission to defend what is moral and right, and that includes crushing anyone capable of turning his lush, beautiful world into a dust bowl. At the Nature Arena, will face off the wicked and guilty without pity.
Mighty Mantis Dragon
Unlike all his siblings who were eventually eaten by his parents, Mighty Mantis Dragon was so strong and aggressive since birth that he survived. That’s how he earned his name and landed at the Electric Arena, where his strike is so fast that the brain can hardly process it.
There will be more dragons to get to know soon! So keep Climbing the Arenas to unlock more powerful Dragons!
