I press the button "log in" its trying to connect and-------> ERROR.. How to play without my friends like neighbours??

Do you have the facebook app installed and are you logged in? If not, this is a workaround until the fix the issue, which btw is facebook's issue not SPs. If you do, unfortunately you will have to wait until facebook fixes the issue. But for me have the fb app installed resolved the issue for me.
