This is interesting but Let me get this straight, i am not a techy dude that knows about computer. All I know is to make a game you program it through codes and to make a character art (monsters) you use softwares such as blender, photoshop, etc.

To be honest, i am really interesting in modelling especially after SP. ML always release monsters with cool looks such as Voytek, Mothman, Sir Automatronicus and that inspires me to also create characters. So, i asked SP through support about what softwares they use to create those amazing monsters but it took 7 days to answer and i got a rough "We don't use such softwares to create them, thank you. Blah blah blah" answer.

I really need to know what they use, do they like have their own built software for modelling and they just want to keep it a secret? it wouldn't kill them to tell it after all there still millions of premium players that gives them lots of $$ everyday.

If you have any idea what they use would you mind sharing it? Thanks

It's probably proprietary, if they wouldn't tell you. Only other reason is they're afraid of competition.

"Some" software companies publish their source code. For example, Sun Microsystems created Open Office an open source alternative to Microsoft Office.

Not many game companies publish their source code. Doom did. I am not sure if it was the release of the source code or if this happened before, but you could change the image of the monsters in the game. There was a monster that looked a lot like Yilitre and you could replace it with Bill Clinton's head.

Obviously that is a rather old example, but EA\CG who make Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes allows a website run by someone outside of EA\CG to read a player's account so that they can review their characters, gear, and mods outside the game. This could only be done by someone who know how to read the files and make sense of them.

So SP could do it. It might be fun to replace certain monsters with customized funny ones created by other people.

Funny you mention Bill Clinton, did you ever play Duke Nukem? There was an expansion pack of levels depicting Washington DC, and if you made your way into the Oval Office, you found Bill Clinton bound and gagged in his chair, having been taken hostage by aliens.
