Post count: 1Reputation: 0Joined:Could you please also add what combat role the monster plays, such as attacker, tank, supporter, healer and etc? I know it takes a lot of your time. But whether or not you add this option, I am thankful for the spreadsheet you created and continue to update.

Monster Stats Sortable List
Post count: 359Reputation: 222Joined:@ilmyfantasyil I have considered something like that. And for a lot monsters, they would fit neatly right into those categories. But then you've got monsters that could fit into multiple categories, depending on the skill set you decided to run and runes to equip. Take Tempest. He can be a controller (AoE stun and AoE blind with speed runes equipped) or as an attacker (with strength runes equipped). It all depends on how the player decides to use him.
Or Warmaster Ragnarok. He's officially designated as a control monster, but he's also an excellent supporter. When I'm working with these stats, I generally try to keep things as objective as possible. One number compared to another to see which is objectively better. I don't want to leave things open to interpretation or draw conclusions (on the spreadsheet that is).
That said, I'll do some more thinking on it.

Post count: 359Reputation: 222Joined:It's more involved, obviously, but if I want to find a good control monster from a particular book, I filter to that book (and legendary monsters only of course). Then I sort by speed (obviously, the faster a control monster is, the better off you'll be). After that, if you're looking for a monster who has control skills, I hit the skills buttons at the top for additional filtering. Just do one at a time. See who stuns. See who freezes. See who possesses, activates cooldowns, drains stamina, etc. Then you can use that "Select" column (just put an 'x' in it) and click the Star at the top and it'll filter to just those monsters for you to look at.

Post count: 5Reputation: 0Joined:@sansot With your spreadsheet, I added check boxes for monsters I have. I also added a column for breeding combo, hatch and breed time. In addition to those, I created comments within the cell for runes and skills that are recommended.
By highlighting the cells that you made changes or updates to, it will help with me having to eliminate which ones you didn't make changes to.
I was just wondering if you could mark the ones you updated but if not, I'm not complaining. I'm grateful you created this spreadsheet for fans like myself.

Post count: 359Reputation: 222Joined:@queenassassin Are you using the macro spreadsheet? I think if you add columns (depending on where you add them), the filtering won't work properly since it's tied to specific columns! Basically, clicking one of the buttons will result in filtering the wrong thing. And I don't know if you're aware but all breeding/hatch times are identical for all legendary monsters and most epics.
Typically, if all I say is that I added particular monsters (which is the most common), the only things added are those particular rows that contain those monsters' data. This update also included the addition of the Race and Quest books, so those got added to the various columns (as well as all the under-the-hood macros to filter them).
Sometimes, I mention making some additional "minor fixes". Typically, it's just erroneous pieces of data (a typo in a monster's speed or the wrong column marked causing a filtering error or something under-the-hood dealing with the macros). But I don't mind specifying what exactly those are in the future.

Post count: 5Reputation: 0Joined:@sansot I add columns after the ones you created in the "stats". The only thing I changed in the "stats" is the `select' column, I added check boxes them. I do not add anything in the skills or dmg calculator because I'm still learning about those.
