If you're going to be shoving races down our throats every month, some tweaks to the system would be appreciated.
One problem I see a lot is "sniping", where one person calls a solo task and another comes in and does it anyway, resulting in lost work, lost stamina, and sometimes lost gems. I've seen teams fracture over this nonsense, and all it takes is one Leeroy to ruin the entire experience for everyone.
Knowing who's doing what per task would sure help with this problem. Right now we have to constantly screenshot point totals for every node, which gets insane and still involves guesswork. How about a text log updated at the conclusion of each node? For example (points awarded are surely not accurate):
John C. was awarded 100 points for breeding 1 epic(s).
Mary Q. was awarded 200 points for breeding 2 epic(s).
Steven F. was awarded 20 points for collecting 20k food.
Donald T. was awarded 30 points for collecting 205k gold.
Donald T. was awarded 10 points for breeding a common.
Donald T. was awarded 500 points for completing a PvP task with gems.
And so on. If you're worried about the length of a log, keep it for the current and previous lap only. This is a relatively straightforward feature the leads and co's on many teams would LOVE to have and would lead to reduced stresses in races.
And for the oldtimers like me: It's LOOOOOG!
