At this point just collect the event coins, do not make any moves until maps are released if you wish to get the most for your coins.

@Bettina-Löffler put the map in this post when they are ready to be released.

Note: Not sure what is going on but it looks like instead of 3 8 hour windows of collections you can collect everything within a 24 hour period. So you have 24 hours to collect the 2400 points. Make sure you do not miss the collections otherwise you will lose a whole days worth of coins. Personally I like this, frees me from having to log in three times if I do not wish to.

Collection times have changed for this event. We can collect 2400 coins every day. So we have 24 hours to collect the full amount of coins for each day. We start with 450 coins. So we can get 7650 coins in total (coins from freebies not included).
We have two maps for Pine only.

1. For phone: Cost 7614 (skip tutorial and buy out last piece of Pine)
2. For PC: Cost 7884 (buy out last piece). Because PC players can not skip tutorial they will have to buy 234 coins. (I recommend to install Bluestacks or MeMu).
   Then we have two maps for Adventure and Berserk. Cost 4970. You will have enough coins to grab some orbs on your way. Calculate proper which you want and can get.

It is confirmed that we can immediately get the one day worth of 2,400 Fog Coins.
It is just 5 hours when the event started and I already have 2,840 coins because
450 - initial coins
Less 60 by getting the fist block
Plus 2,400 on the 1st day collection and 50 from Freebie Island.

I am having a problem with getting the gentlemen out of the way so I can move any Ideas?.

If you are on a pc the tutorial is buggy and is currently being reviewed to be fixed. In the meantime if you still cannot access it, I suggest you either close it and try it later once it has been fixed. Or try completing the turorial on another device or using one of the android emulators on a pc.

I got the adventure dragon egg almost right away. I also got the tiger dragon from the first set of videos. I used a couple of gems to speed up the hatching of the adventure dragon to open up the special quest, but I'm hesitant to speed up the quest. I'm saving my gems for the heroic race since the heroic dragons seem like the only dragons that really matter in this game.

What do you mean by discounts?

If you are waiting for the cost of the steps to have a lesser amount of fog coins to be used, it will not happen as the do not do these discounts on the Fog-type Island Events. They used to have a Happy Hour on Maze-type Island Events but recently, they completely removed it.

If you are referring to discounted offer of Fog Coins in the Shop, it is happening frequently during the event and The Flash Offers stays 2 hours randomly. There is one going on right now.

I liked this format because of the freedom I have to collect coins.
Sometimes it's hard (I believe for more players too) to constantly login and conciliate the collect times with work/studies or even with the sleeping time, so this change makes easy my game experience.

How many coins does it cost to buy out the last piece of the pine dragon?

@terrencedg Then is it even possible to get pine dragon without paying for fog coins?

On phone with skipping tutorial, yes. On PC you can not skip tutorial and you can not get coins from watching ads. So on PC, no.

@Bettina-Löffler Thanks! I already have berserk but not adventure. So I went and got adventure but wasn't sure if I'd have enough for pine. It seems I'll need 19 more lucky spins on the ad machine to get that last piece. Not likely! Guess I'll go getting chests and orbs now instead.

I think it is impossible to get enough coins for both. I would go for chests and orbs in your case also.

@Pounawea I like this 24 hs period collecting way more than the 8 hs one (and of course, more than the 4 hs one).

I have berserk and adventure now, spent last coins on orbs and now stocking up on gems for heroic race tomorrow. This time i'll actually race smart and win!

24 hour period is better of course. My main issue with the tower event wa the 4-hour time frame to collect the coins. So, 24 is really nice.

I only need 65 more for pine, i guess i am staying up until 11 to hopefully get it from videos

@Pounawea My families consensus is overwhelmingly in favor of the 24 hour timer instead of the 6 or 8 hour pool times.

Even though we all pop in and out of the game several times a day. It was so much nicer collecting everything at one time and not worrying about setting a timer to insure we didn’t miss the next collection time. Sometimes, life happens and things may take you away from the game causing you to miss a collection time...which can totally throw off your entire event. The 24 hour timer takes so much stress out of the game. Games are supposed to be fun and help you alleviate stress...not cause more.
