@fox while I welcome improved rewards, doing it this late in the season is not necessarily a good thing. Based on the current rewards I made the decision to leave Legendary and have been working away at dropping down to Gold II. Would be nice to be able to make strategic decisions without fear of moving goalposts.

The point is this whining and complaining happened 10 days ago when the new season started ,, any one could tell that this is a mistake but SP said firmly it is right as the level 7 rune compensate for reward .So for 10 days some decided to lower their rank based on this and lost more than 0.5-1 k trophies then sp change it so this players decision is really bad now and not enough time to go up again
the decision is right but it is the timing is totally off
Imagine a heroic race with terrible reward that you decided to skip and on last day the reward is changed to amazing dragon that if you know from the start you would raced very hard

Haka, as I said. The first set of rewards was not a mistake, it was planned like that.
I am aware that this came later but even if you dropped, you were aiming for the relics that are still there. I am trying to find the positives.

PvP rewards change
Post count: 0Reputation: -7Joined:@Haka-Taka , well said...I asked Fox the question & got a confirmation that it was accurate & would be reviewed only in the following season...so, contrary to what has been suggested, I didn't "whine" but just dropped to a more suitable reward... grateful that you're still a moderator, @Haka-Taka , voice of reason for the player base.

I get that but also imagine the other side of the fence who wanted the changes and are now happy that they made them so that they will get the "proper" rewards for the season. So essentially you all are saying that when they make the corrections it should not be for existing seasons/events but for the next time it comes around. So with that thinking in mind when they re-balancing is done in say a 72 hour challenge and the drop rate is exponentially low, that SP should leave it as it and fix it for the next one? I get how their changes make for bad planning but it seems if you petition for them to stop it when it hurts you, it will also come back to bite you because they will stop it when it helps you also.

Post count: 0Reputation: -7Joined:@Fox , we have event after event that is rather costly on gems... Contrived is quite right, that this late in the season means that we will have to spend quite a lot of gems to move back up to the relevant league... that's why it's not appropriate to make these changes, now...

I did NOT petition for a change. Don't suggest I complained at what was on offer originally; I did not. I accepted what was offered, at face value, and made decisions based on what was presented.
And it is nothing like your 72 hour challenge example. To put it in 72 hour challenge terms, this is equivalent to a situation where you can only earn enough challenge coins to get one monster; you choose the one you want best; and then when you are 2 cards away from getting it, the Arnu you sensibly chose not to go for is changed for a Nautilus.
But Fox is right, the rewards I chose to aim for are decent enough. Just not sure I wouldn't prefer an Armour of Duty. C'est la vie.
