Rage Team Wars

Thanks Social Point for giving us Rage Team Wars instead of another Race Event (which was announced by taringa hackers)! I really appreciate that you listened to me and the community about our concerns about having to much Race Events recently. I think this kind of Event is giving back Team Wars a little bit more importance and priority in the game as they deserve. Its great to see that for all players that enjoy team wars.

Keep going with that!

To the community: I dont write this to "glorify" SP but i think its really important to also show them if something is good and what we appreciate and not just telling whats bad and complain

I wonder does it apply to an already started war? We still have 12 hours left from the Preparation Day.

well actually it is the progressive island we have now is what delayed the race not the rage team war , rage war are just a new war restriction like 3 E and 3R etc .
Also i will not call taringa hackers , i know you are angry cause of the chest leak but they are not hacking and they really help up planing a bit for the game future events and so
As for rage war i hope it is glicths free this time , last time it was really bugged and even today my normal war was bugged cause of it , my monster were shown recovered after 2.5 hours but gives me error on attack cause actually they were still cooling down

I hope SP will learn soon, that it is very important to have much more detailed informations about events, monsters, breeding combinations. Everything we got in the past from Monster-wiki.

i think they are on the right path lately we got combo and date for the breeding event in advance . a big improvement

@Haka-Taka yes, also hope for bug free. My current war shows that I have 1/10 attacks, yet obviously I have only done 4 not 9. The last time this stuffed up the attack count in the top contributors, I am curious to see whether this happens again!

Can I just say...both wiki & taringa are run by fans of ML, & have been a huge help to players & have been a great advert for ML! I'm not keen on rage wars, during the last one, the event ended mid war, & players ended up with attacks that had 5h CDs... everyone thought that it may have been a bug, but sadly,...not a bug. No, I don't plan on thanking SP for this event...bah humbug

So how does this event work? Last war was 5/5 with 5 hours cd on monsters. Does it only work with newly started wars?
Also how long is it? I can't see anywhere how much time is left.

yes only war matched during this event .but surprisingly i think it wasn't mentioned how long this is event !!

If I remember correctly from the previous one, it should be similar to any other team wars event, i.e, Rare/Dark/Earth wars. But 10 attacks in a hard war is costly, as players need their best team & not many have more than 1 good team, so, players can't get all attacks in. CDs are 2.5h between attacks & games shouldn't impede on players' sleep, work etc. Sorry, for my bah humbug views.
Edited to add: unfortunately, when the last team this event ended, but you were already in a war, you still had 10/10 attacks to do but with 5h CDs.

Just relax, rage wars is for elite teams only. You get to rack up twice as many coins while scrub teams get to lose twice as much for their 35-50 war coins.

Even a losing team can get a reasonable coin haul because there are double war coins available. In a 30 man team, a diligent loser can still target 200 coins.

My cooldowns on IOS reverted back to normal, while I am still in a Rage war.
This is not very nice.

On my Android devices the reduced cooldowns are still in place.

@Ekto-Gamat different platforms are often not in sync.
For example: while I can use the 80% breeding reduction on android, the facebook version still shows the unmodofied time. Maybe something like that is happening to you.

That may be the case, but the problem remains: everyone who is still in a rage war and only plays on IOS now has to spend more gems to finish their attacks.

Why are they letting this happen again. It caused problems last time. I had to spend gems on the Rage war just at the 2.5 because I couldn't get all attacks done when I was sleeping and war ended shortly after I got up in the morning. I had 4 attacks left and when getting up I would have to spend gems or before bed. 2.5 hours in 12 hours is roughly 5 attacks. Which leaves 5 more to do ... I had to sleep. I managed to do 6 attacks but had 4 I had to gem.

I am using iOS and I hadn‘t that problem. 2,5h was always the cooldown time.... war will finish in 5min.

I like the coins and the idea of the war, but also think the time for the war should be extended out if they are going to double everything. And when it ends it needs to end when a war ends not at a specific time as many people are still in wars when it ends and it stuffs up the timers and other things with the event.

I like Rage Wars, even if it does cost a bit more gems than usual.

It's not so much fun for players facing a stronger opponent though. When they already have trouble finding 5 viable targets, they naturally are not very motivated to speed up their attacks for another 5 attacks they are likely to lose.

Guys one of my team mates had the issue with his Android and found there was a ML update which corrected the issue of the wrong amount of timer and wars showing.

@C0ntr1v3d I don’t think 200 coins is close to possible unless the war is very close. Our last war Padawan got close to 800 coins and we got 80. so top teams basically double their coins for a couple wars and the losers don't see much. We also benefited from a decent win so it kind of evened out but these wars really aren't very player friendly anyway. Now you get team leadership harrassing you to get 10 attacks done instead of 5 lol

We made 154 when we lost against Kelly's Heroes and then we won the rematch with 534 coins. These were two awesome rare wars that pitched two almost equal teams against each other - twice! During the first war the rules were in their favour whereas we had the better line up during the second war. Both wars were reasonably close, although the first one took much longer before a clear winner started to emerge (them), we were leading the second war from fairly early onwards....

.... and I have to agree with the sentiment that these wars are really tough on players, in particular when you have close matches like this. So I was one of the leads pressuring our players to get all attacks in I think a reduced cooldown of 2 hours per monster would make it more bearable!!! @Fox

Sorry, cutting half an hour off the cooldowns, will not improve the stress of rage wars...players invariably use under par teams to get their attacks done, or just miss doing the attacks, both of which produce the same outcome. Expecting players to gem their attacks against bases that they're bound to lose, is unfair too...for me, 10/10 attacks are too much for players who sleep, work, go to any form of education, or just lead normal lives...the game shouldn't be an imposition on your daily life...just saying

Whilst I don't mind the odd occasion of rage wars, 3 weeks interval is waaaaaaaay too short!!!
