Hi I’m returning after many years. My two main dragons were apocalypse and supersonic but I don’t know if they are still useful and or good to keep upgrading as my top 2. Apocalypse is L21 and supersonic is L15. Side note I will also be looking to learn about alliances soon.

The big ones to have now are Heroics. You get them from the Heroic Taces. There are 2 rewarded each race. The newer one is reward3d for either winning the race or getting to lap 15. An older one is rewarded for reaching lap 12.

Thanks. Should I just bread my 6 legend dragons too try and collect more or breed lower dragons to fill my collection out? And are the hero events run back to back? Ie do I have 2 days to convince an alliance to take a chance on me?

@Nazboo If you now join an alliance you can contribute but you will not get any rewards. You have to wait for the next race to have a chance for a herioc dragon. I would do collectins and trying to build up a good fighting team. I would prefer dragons first the pure element in the first place. But be careful. You will be quickly running out of food, if you feed to many different dragons to higher levels.

I have a pure, a pure terra and a pure dark. All level 15, should I improve them?

@Nazboo I did that in the beginning. But you will soon need others when you go up in pvp and arenas.

@Bettina-Löffler does the next event start right after this one or is there a few days in between for me to find an alliance?

@Nazboo Set up a pair of purse for breeding. There is a whole list of legendaries that are now breedable. https://forums.socialpointgames.com/topic/4622/more-breedable-dragons

You can also purchase a Primal Dragon in the market and start breeding it with different elements. Just check the Dragon Book in game. There is a number of them listed.

@Nazboo I would not use a pure hybrid for breeding. It opens you up to a bunch of possible outcomes. With just pure & pure you get 1 of 2 outcomes...another pure @8 hours or one of the legendaries...30 plus hours.

Oh, and there is a regular Heroic Race each month. Hopefully, they will continue with them. The alliance race needs much work yet so I’m hoping they aren’t scrapping the monthly race with a regular alliance race.

@Nazboo Usually a new event starts a few hours after one ends, but we have not gotten the July update yet.

@Nazboo Actually, heroics are overpowered, ugly and generally too hard to get to be reliable. I use 4-elementals, since you can breed them to get lots of orbs to empower them with. Your Apocalypse dragon happens to be my favorite! It’s on a very high tier, and has helped me blast through quests and arenas, and defeated lots of Heroics. I’d say it pairs nicely with your Supersonic, since they check each other’s weaknesses.

@BathtubDoritos what would be a good third to apocalypse and supersonic? I like the look of dark jester but he overlaps 3 of 4 with apocalypse

@Nazboo How about Millenium? It has 2 of the same elements as Supersonic, but it has Sea and War, and is the only 4-elemental to have them. It helps check Flame and Terra dragons a bit easier.
