So there are several monsters which have cheap moves which are supposed to be 50% accuracy. Like Xiron's Control Dice and Kihaku's Katsu Kinken. They need to be fixed! 50% should be 50%!!!!!

Post count: 111Reputation: 130Joined:I could not agree more with this. Those bugged moves plague the game and prevent to really assess the potential use of the said bugged skill. It has been more than 1 year since they appear around Samael's release date and have been accumulated on all monsters released since. Contr1v3d cited the most "popular"among them and most of these skills that are used more than they would be (if they were working as intended) involved group 1/2 moves with 0CD and a control skill but are also valid for other effects (I haven't tested all of course but all that I tested indicate it is widespread across all the monsters released for a little longer than the past year). This really affect the way monsters are balanced, for some more than it should and it should be fixed asap. Don't keep those new monsters accumulating with bugged skills please, time for a fix has come, don't wait for another year.

His 50% move does 0 damage.
His relic slots are both traps which aren't that useful.How do we know this is not intended, and that all 50% moves are supposed to be like that?
How do we know that they are not supposed to be 100% and the 50% is a typo?
Are we sure we didn't just lose vs them and come lash out on the forum?
... sorry just using same arguments that were used when I asked to fix fire cursed of Darmith Bodyguard.
Guess less people have Kihaku than Darmith Bodyguard .
How about people who invested elementium, gems and all that to rank xiron and kihaku based on what they do (which is far more valuable than war coins) is it fair to change them now months and months later?
If we are fixing this let's please fix that too.

There are so many monsters who are viable as options because of the 50% being 100%. For example, Shannaraâs Bodyguard. Is there any issue with that monster being overused? No, I never see him in war or PvP. With 100% on Great Anagram Stun the monster is perfectly balanced and useful. True 50% deny skills are useless for their intended purpose, while a good addition to a skill that is otherwise useful in its own right. Youâre right that itâs nuts that Kihakuâs Katsu Kinken should be his primary skill! Xiron needs some balancing perhaps, but adjusting Control Dice to a 50/50 short leaves players with a Ruby below level 110 from having a single reliable AOE control skill, which is ridiculous. Fixing the glitch on super popular creatures is probably good, but âfixingâ the percent on marginally useful monsters made viable with 100% would decrease the already too low monster diversity.
Some of the recent âbalance fixesâ havenât fixed things but completely crippled creatures. What they did to Vanitus is a travesty. The âfixâ live today to The Ringer turned him from a fun and unique monster into one relegated to the trash can. Instead of increasing diversity by truly balancing monsters and addressing fixes thoughtfully they are releasing ridiculously OP monsters like Charmless. I agree with one teammate regarding the July balances that âSocial Point seems to be focusing on the wrong issues and monsters with these so called balances.â Iâm concerned they will âfixâ Nautilus for example, after most players have put a lot of resources into leveling him up, only to turn him into a completely useless epic.
True fixing is great, true balancing is great, but wrecking non-overused or already weak monsters is terrible, and blanket across the board nerfs would be super frustrating and irresponsible.

Post count: 477Reputation: 135Joined:@BaxAttacks I think that oppinon is very hypocritical to the argument about these nerfs. Shanara's Bodyguard had an aoe 45 stun 1cd which is utterly insane! Plus with his tankiness I hate having to deal with "Great Anagram Stun". Also personally see him a ton on defense in war. So in my oppinion he should be effected by this nerf like everyone else. With Kihaku you would run "Katsu Jinken" anyway since if it was nerfed it still be a 0cd aoe around 75% to deny the enemy team (Suppose no resistence, or immunity traits). This also goes for Skills with supposed 50% odds from Xiron, Cloud, and etc.
Plus what you guys don't understand is to do this type of change they would have to manually go through every monster released since Samuel to nerf these skills. Which seems like such a waste of time. Instead they should be trying to figure out what is causing it, and fix it for future monsters.

And yes if a move isnt working as intended then it should be fixed. Bear in mind it is not a nerf, it is a fix!
Currency shouldn't matter, people payed/gemmed the monster for the moves, they didnt know the move was bugged until they used it.âď¸

The rest of your post is amusing, since I posted this thread in consequence of the announcement that Darmith's BG is being re-balanced as you demanded it be. And I thought, in that case, a bug of real consequence should get some attention.
But I snipped the above bit of your post because I did not know if you are serious or not. Dual traps on an effective (non-hitter) monster are excellent relic slots.

50% and otherwise, despite having invested in Kihaku and Xiron as I have said before whether I use it or not it should not be a factor.
To tell u the truth I didn't even know the 50% were not functioning as they should till I saw this post, just thought I was being lucky for a changeSo fine with me to fix them away ^_^
and didn't see the darmith BG fix till few moments ago, happy about that
oh but some clarification in order I always thought it meant you will get a status effect for sure, but it MIGHT be Freeze, it might be Possession, 50:50 for each.
not that you might get Freeze+possession 50% or nothing at all 50% that doesn't really make sense to me. when it says 50%for one thing then the other one is presumed nothing, but when it says 50% for each I always understood it as either this or that.

If anyone ranked these monsters solely on the basis of using these specific skills it's on them. And these overused skills, for the most commonly used, involved mostly control effects so they greatly impact the efficiency of a monster: I am no user of darmith's BG currently but I have monsters like kihaku and xiron and other with bugged skills fully ranked and my wish is to see them working as they should be to truly evaluate them in the field, I really don't like to see a skill (that I would have chosen anyway) working "better" than it should be. This has to be addressed and fast as it has a much higher impact than a single monster bugged skill like Darmith' BG or the ringer, it is spread over a generation of monsters that have been released for 1 year+.

We have addressed the issue of the 50% chance skills.
The fix will be live at the end of August. (No, we are NOT going skill by skill manually fixing, the issue was a bit "deeper")We are aware that this will harm the usability of some monsters, but we never lied about it: We said the chance was 50%.
We will continue fixing bugs and trying to make combat as solid as it deserves to be; players need to think on strategies, not in exploits.
And we are getting close. If we finally manage to stabilize the timeline, the turn orders and the 50%, we are in the good track.Keep it Simple

Post count: 536Reputation: 195Joined:@C0ntr1v3d Iâm not saying that what Iâm saying is monster was brought out like that that is how people have got used to using it thatâs why gems were spent on it now if sp come out a week later said sorry our mistake we will fix it right away I have absolutely no problem with that but not a year or more later like they have been doing eg nautilus how long have they known about that happy to leave it though and other monsters until gems and time has been spent on it then say ooops our fault weâre changing it to what it should be thatâs my point and going by way social point fix things it will go from 1 end to the other it will not be 50% like stated I guarantee moves as soon as there fixed will never hit miss miss miss that is a certainty
