With one, maybe two, collections left for most players at this point to obtain enough Kyuubi orbs to have the chance to summon the Legacy dragon which thousands of players have been working on for many months...
I think the devs need to implement some sort of feature which would allow players to use gems when the timer concludes to obtain the required orbs to participate in the upcoming breeding event.
For example, this could be done in bundles of 15 orbs, as that is how they were distributed in the event. So, 15 orbs would be "x." 30 orbs would be "x" and so on.
Once again, the ability to get the orbs is totally left to chance. It is worse, even, than the disastrous showing for the successful breeding of Evanescent, which had such low odds (I'd be interested to know exactly what they were) BUT at least with that, one did have the ability to use gems to speed and try new breed attempts. An attempt to try and control one's destiny if you will.
My son, who has been playing this game since it came out, does not have the Legacy Dragon and has been working constantly with pure/pure breeds since at least February. He has been stuck on the cups since that time, unable to progress.
He has invested quite a bit of money in the game over the years and has become absolutely disgusted with the fact that this dragon is so impossible to get. He was thrilled when this breeding event came out and was looking forward to getting the Kyuubi dragon... He has one collection left and is 15 orbs short.
It discourages players when walls of this sort gate them from progressing. And it infuriates me, personally, to know that there will be thousands of people who will be unable to even participate in the breeding event if they need the Legacy because they simply had junky luck.
Please consider the ability to buy additional required orbs.
Because, again, even if required orbs are obtained and the Kyuubi is summoned, all players come up against another gate in the actual breeding event.
The orbs would be a way to ensure participation. They would bring in a bit of revenue. They would give players the feeling that they had a chance. That is all good for the game.
And, speaking of good for the game, let's hope the Legacy breeding odds have been tweaked a bit to the advantage of the player this time. Not so dreadful.
Happy players = successful game.
