@Carlos I'm glad you were able to see this from a players perspective also.
The problem here is there has been practically a total lack of communication about anything to do with the game besides announcements of events from when I restarted the game almost 2 years ago, until very recently where that is slowly starting to change (thanks to you and the other employees that post to the forums, and the new updates tab in-game).
In this particular instance, Ignite was a status that was exclusive to Kaih until the new Nemesis was released, and from Kaih's release until the day before the Nemesis was released, Burn and Ignite were not stackable, so it seemed that it was by design.
Suddenly changing things that have been status quo for so long (I think it had been a year? Longer?), regardless if they are bugs or not, will definitely ruffle feathers. In this case if you don't read the forums carefully or catch the part in Luficifier's story bio, you probably wouldn't even know it's been changed.
Still I'm all for fixing up these long running bugs and getting the mechanics working as designed/planned. I know there are going to be some unpopular ones like fixing up Nautilus and similar, but hopefully once these things are quashed we can move forward with more stable/predictable gameplay. Just please give the players a heads up when things are changed as even small things can affect battles.
