Just thought I would mention that the ad with Martha Stewart as the new judge on Chopped is a new wrinkle on the same old problem with Monsterwood. It blows my mind how SP allows such a subpar contractor to work for them. This ad cannot be closed by clicking on the X or the Goback button on the tablet. I have to actually close the app down and still do not get a reward.

@Kaiju did you wait until the 2nd screen with the “x” in upper right? The majority of the ads I had were those & I had no problem with them.

@MamawJane Yes, the ad would run and then it would go to the static ad page and just hang there.

Please stop with the Solo movie add! Once that add begins running there is nothing to do but shut down and reopen the app. Cannot stop the add and once it starts & after it runs its course it never finishes and just stays on a static add screen. From there I cannot back up, no X to close add, only option is close app & re-open. If I was on the fence about seeing the film there is now ZERO chance I will see it because of the inconvenience the broken add is causing. Clearing cache doesn't work, nothing works and now Monsterwood is useless. Sure hope it doesn't start effecting being able to complete the dailies.

SP has no control over the videos, and cannot fix them. Use the appropriate link to report your issue.

Is monsterwood crashing the game for anyone else? Tried clearing cache and reinstalling but no joy.

@San I have had it just go back to the Home Screen a few times. I just go gather my Gold or Food or play a round or two in the Dungeons & go back & it’s fine. I still get my 20!

The last two sets of Monsterwood (Crazy Days & Relic Chests) have been terrible! I am only able to get in one set of 20 each 24 hours because it takes so long (3-4 hours) to watch 20 with watching the video & getting nothing or being told it is closed after only 3-4 videos watched. I'm beginning to think it is not so much the "third-party" video company as it is the interface between Monsterwood & SP. I use my Kindle Fire sometimes as well as my iPhone 6S Plus & those are not both Fyber whatever. Right now the Tasks Ads are from supersonic on my iPhone. Since it switched to the gems this morning, it took 2 hours to watch 20 videos. I watched 2 ads before the first time it finished the ad but just went to the regular screen before not giving the pop-up to claim the gem; then I rebooted and I watched 12 more ads before it stopped & told me that "The Cinema was closed." I rebooted twice, then gathered all my gold & food, fed a monster, and then rebooted again. I was able to watch 2 more videos then got the error again where it just goes back to Monsterwood with no "claim button" again. After rebooting again, I was finally able to watch the last 2 videos! Watching 20 30-second or less videos should take no more than 15 minutes at the most! It is taking hours lately which is ridiculous! @Fox, is there any hope this will ever be fixed??

Just curious - And pardon if I've missed or need to contact Fyber - Are rewards still given, when the screen flashes yellow after the videos? I've watched 6 videos today, after trying since about 10am EST.. It is now 2am EST. Happy hours, special events, etc, basically make Monsterwood useless on my end, but I'm pretty resolved in it.. Just curious if anyone has noticed rewards still being sent. Normally I can watch several rounds of videos with no issues.

On a side note - I was able to get through all of the allowed videos yesterday in about 30 seconds for all videos, lol.. It glitched and didn't show the videos. It was a nice unplanned cruise.

"Watch Monsterwood" it's the hardest task in daily missions. I've been trying to watch a trailer for two hours.

What exactly is the problem? Do you get an error, black screen, the game crashes to homes screen?

@Fox no black screen but I have gotten only 11 items (8 food & 3 gold) all day! I had 11 go back to the Home Screen with 6 in a row the last time I tried. I rebooted between each time it did that as well. The last time, it said Cinema closed. This was after only 15 (2 gems, 9 food, 4 gold) yesterday. The News item definitely needs a rewording! "get lots of resources" isn't correct any more!

It displays the inscription: "The cinema is closed. Come back later!" for most attempts. One in twenty attempts is successful but does not receive a reward after the film.

How do I disable this garbage feature to prevent my young son from watching INAPPROPRIATE VIDEOS including sniper games SHOOTING PEOPLE IN THE HEAD WITH BLOOD ?

Finally everything works (in version 7.2.4.) I watched ten videos one by one without any issue.

No way to disable. Just tell your kid specifically that he can't click the Monsterwood, and if he wants something from there that you'll do it for him.
I complained about the content as well. They had ads glorifying drug dealing with a game called weed. And even now the Cafe Recipes game has a bunch of trash revolving around getting pregnant, cheating, and other adult subject matter nonsense.
