So, I started an alliance for me and my friends, left it open though. Somehow, during a short absence, someone else took my leader position for MY alliance. How did this happen and how do i get my alliance back???

There is a rule that if the leader is inactive for 3 weeks or more you lose your leadership. You have a few options to try to solve this,
- send in a ticket to support, though I am not sure if they will give it back to you since you did not remain active as per the rules.
- Create a new alliance and have you and your friends join there. I suggest you make one or two of your friends co-leaders so that if you have to be inactive again one of them will become leader and can give it back to you.
- Talk to the leader of the alliance and see if he/she will give you the leadership back. I am not sure if he/she should or would give it back to you since you were inactive for over 3 weeks and that is not good or fair for the rest of the alliance members.
I am a collector not a fighter, need I say more? Oh yeah....and female. ;)

@reddixie You also may want to rethink being an alliance leader at all. Especially if you are going to have brief periods of inactivity. People get upset over players being inactive since the chests are improved by more activity. Having inactive players is one issue. When the alliance leader isn’t even productive, no one has room to gripe. You may just want to join an alliance and speak to the leader about not kicking you if you are gone for a few days here and there, especially if work or other real life activity takes you away from game.
