I've wanted to talk about traits for awhile now, and with big changes done to the main three, plus mountain though it was a good time to discuss traits. I'll start off with rebalancing traits.
I'd first want to start talking about immune to burn. There are three burning effects in the game, but only basic burn falls under this trait. If you really care about unifying the traits. Then ignite, and sunburn should fall underneath the immune to burning trait.
Celestial was a really cool trait upon it's initial release. However now with stun trait being buffed shouldn't it be rebalanced? I'm thinking it makes you immune to stun, daze, and blind. Instead of stun, and bleeding. For this would fit better with their angelic nature.
Demon should make you also immune to nightmares. For you are used to the horrors of the world.
Gravedigger would be neat if it wasn't just a weaker Abomination trait. I'm thinking it would be cool if he was immune to possession (all forms), nightmares, and sudden death. This would fit his job of being a monster related to the dead.
Attuned, and Super Attuned have always been meh traits. I feel like they should heal percentages of stamina instead of having a constant point system. For they never really come into play at all during battles, and buffing them is long overdue. I'm thinking that they should recover 25% energy for Attuned, and 50% for Super Attuned. This would be alot better, and due to relics this honestly isn't busted at all.
Energized is also in the same boat as a frankly useless trait. I feel it would be cool if it prevented stamina draining. Like if inflicted by drowned, nightmares, or stamina leak. You'd still loose life, but you wouldn't loose stamina which would be cool.
Now want to talk about improving the nemesis monster traits. For the earlier ones weren't really the best. Plus it would be nice if traits were consistant.
Nemesis - Hydratila Would also now have a 35% resistance to status effects.
Nemesis - Lucifire Would also now have a 35% resistance to status effects.
Nemesis - Samuel Would also now be immune to sudden death.
Nemesis - Nadiel Would now have a 35% resistance to status effects over a 30% resistance.
Nemesis - Llum Would also now be immune to blind.
Nemesis - Xiron Would now have a 35% resistance to status effects over a 30% resistance, and be immune to all forms of possession.
Now for monsters I feel like due to new traits should have them.
All monsters who should have the Demon trait - Hellborne, Ralbog, Firael, Oikawa, Balor, Barbatos, Lilysha (That, and immunity to possession).
All monsters that should have the Celestial trait - Rootziel, Goath'el, Esthirel, Seraphim, Cupid, Arch Knight, and Uriel.
All monsters that should have the Abomination trait - Invidia, Growler, Cthulhu, Noctum, Glitch, and Hayman.
All monsters that should have the Orc trait - Bjarni, and Kal'Drekk.
All monsters that should have the Mountain trait - Ledovech, and Sarah.
All monsters that should be Immune to Possession - Fayemelina, Teashire, Wisteria, Lord Mindson, Vodyanoy, Kihaku (That, while keeping his hardened trait), Ihtiander, Lostyghost, Master Skeel, Lilysha (That, and demon), Fampira, Mr. Flaky, and Mechamancer.
All monsters that should have Immune to Freeze - Sasquatch, Furhem, White Walker, Frostbite, Frostwrath, and Krampus.
All monsters that should be Immune to Sudden Death - Fenix, Alpha Cliviast, and Skull Rivera.
