Also agreed, it should be a signal to SP: improve QA.
Nobody would be complaining, if there wasn't a bug in the first place.
Fixing a bug after a year leads to inconveniences and it's totally fine that people (aka customers) voice their problems with that.
And I'm saying that while working in a QA department for a software company. It's not new that companies like to save some money there, but then they have to hear the justified complains too and might have to answer a little bit more tickets than they'd like.
When a monster isn't working as intended, how are you supposed to rune them? Already anticipating a fix that might never come? In any case you are probably missing out: either runed wrong for unknown time or being left with unequipping costs.
I think it would be at least appropiate to give a period of time in which removing runes from DBG is for free.
(and other monsters that are changed respectively)
At the end of the day, people who are spending money in the game keep the game alive. SPs bills, employees etc don't pay themselves.
I think it is pretty cool that ML can be played for free fairly easily - but this is only because there are others that DO spend money on it. There are for sure games that are a pain to play without spending money, and I don't think that ML is one of them.
Unfortunately game publishers have a hard time to find the right balance and some might give mobile gaming in general a bad name.
P2W and Freemium came with MMOs and mobile gaming. I'm an oldschool gamer, and used to buy the game and get all the features and endgame at once, but then this are normally games that don't need servers and constant updates. Making the customer pay over and over again is obviously more lucrative and probably also what people want. Games that are not free in app shops are having a hard time compared to apps that can be downloaded for free and ingame purchases.
We vouch with our dollar what kind of game we like. If you put your dollar into a P2W game, you tell them "I like that, go ahead". There is no point in complaining - the dollar speaks for itself.
I am gunning for Zyla with Zyla + Galante Jr.
It started rough for me (pretty much in the 5% range), but turned out to be a great breeding event.
First Zyla after 19 tries
Second Zyla after 42 tries (total)
Third Zyla after 45 tries (total)
Fourth Zyla after 46 tries (total)
I spent about 400-500 gems on clearing the hatchery. 500 gems for 4 Zyla eggs is pretty amazing. I didn't put any more tries into it, temple was running out anyway and hatchery is full with 4 zyla eggs.
What about something that makes people want to stay in one team for a long time? Like a prize for being loyal to a team.
Right now it doesn't really hurt a team to change temporarily and go back after. There is not much to gain from being a local to a team, is there?
It is only breaking matchmaking for everybody else, and about that these teams don't care.
Also, even if the restrictions are extremly low right now, doesn't that still mean that the pool of inactive teams is smaller?
I mean, for an active team that creates a new team it is certainly no problem to get 50 war coins. But so far they were looking for groups with zero competition. These zero competiton teams might not participate in the race anymore, since THEY wont get 50 coins. So in general there are more active race groups making it less lucrative to change?
So, this is it now?
I feel ultimately punished that I didn't go with the meta build of ranking Thetyse for water element back in the day. I decided to go with Frostbite instead, and what did it help? Frostbite nowhere to be seen, but Thetyse in two books. What possible excuse can I give to my team not to rank Thetyse? There is none.
How does this change promote diversity? It's quite the opposite.
Why would I ever be interested in any new monsters? They are in no books. Does SP really believe they'll maintain the books fast enough to keep up with new monsters? And even if they did, does that mean there will be new books over books over books? That idea is more scary than anything.
Why would I give my hardest in Team Races, when there is no use for the #1 monster afterwards?
Why would I spend gems in a breeding event, when there is no use for the monster afterwards?
They tried to break up the meta builds, but created stronger meta builds while doing so. Best idea now is to go with monsters that are in several books, isn't it?
Also, if the library takes up 2 of the 3 restriction spaces and elements AND rarity share the last space - the wars with C/UC/R/E restrictions will be rare. E's will be almost meaningless.
I spent a good amount of cash to build up my element team the last months. I went away from the meta build on several elements - and it totally screwed me. I have absolutely no desire to buy any gems at the moment. There is just no point.
