@Vanita-Williams That would be extremely impractical as the co-leads are supposed to help run the team, start wars, replace players when necessary while the lead is asleep, at work, etc. The solution is to only pick co-leads you can trust!!!

@Fox And our current situation reminded me of something else that was brought up before:

It would be fantastic if we could 'bench' players. The bench could be filled with a maximum of 5 players which do not participate in wars but are associated with the team and can use in-game chat. This would be extremely useful when the team isn't a multiple of 5. So if you are 27 and want to start a war, you can select 2 players to sit out rather than let the system decide. Also, if you could have those 5 places in addition to the maximum 30 players in a team, then you could accept players who have applied to the team before the war has finished. It is extremely frustrating if you want/need to replace a player, see a good applicant and when the war is over he is gone! Obviously when a benched player leaves the team, he/she won't have a cooldown....

@TheSwedishHippo during our last earth war, Ouros blocked Megastun from Brontes. So that fact is now incorrect!!!

@Boris This has nothing to do with bad matchmaking. A war like that would enable you to use any monster you like. You can try out new things with new skills because you are not limited to the few ranked and runed monsters on your roster. I think it would actually lead to some players investing in monsters that they have previously ignored. It would bring back diversity albeit only for a couple of wars!!! I'd love to have the odd round of 'Vanilla Wars' 😎

@Fox I gave this a bit more thought and I'd like to add the following:

    Improvements to war log stats:

    • summary page, please add a decimal point to average coins per attack as whole numbers mean nothing during close wars in particular

    • war events, please add base number to player names and show runes used on monsters. It's really hard sometimes to tell whether a player is bottom feeding or why a player lost a battle!

Improvements to player stats in Top Contributers:

    • Retain stats for cell donation. Currently when you leave team and come back, your number of attacks and attacks used remain, but your cell donations are erased.

    • add average war coins earned per war, ie. max 15 coins. Currently in profile it only shows total coins for whole team which means nothing!

All the above will make it easier to a) judge performance of players and b) help players to make better choices with their attack teams.

@TCML-Lead There is no denying that Nemesis are tipping the balance of the game, however, Faraday is not nearly as bad as Sammy or Xiron the Ruby. Faraday is quite easily denied and when I attack a Faraday base in PvP with my Thetys attack team, I just use Barbartos instead of Voltaik. He recharges after my buff +extra turn and then 'Good-bye'....

... I should add that whilst we don't focus on races, we don't ignore them either. We do the best we can with the match we get. We just don't do and condone the use of race teams due to the damage it does to the game and the fact that it simply is a form of cheating!

It's sad to see how few players out there share the same game ethics, but we hope to find a few more like minded players to join our family!

I agree that many teams may not bother to compete properly in the race if the use of race teams are prevented but I am sure that many will spend more just to get into 1st. Whether that makes up for the possible loss, I don't know, but I reckon that many may start investing more into ranking their monsters again rather than relying on a steady supply of Lvl 115 race monsters. Also, doing 14 laps providing the effort is evenly spread across the team, doesn't cost much. It's significantly less than 30 epic tasks to get there, which means less than 150 gems per player to get rank 3 monster worth 1750 gems and now also a rank 1 monster worth over 500 which I was disgusted to see that it was added to the first prize as well rather than being exclusive to places 2 & 3 (and this race only 2nd!). Aren't they already getting enough!?!

@shazzy You don't need Lvl 130 monsters and tons of X runes to join our team. We have a few players like that but the majority have monsters Lvl 110-120 with runes 7-10. Loyalty and team spirit is more important than raw fire power, but obviously you need to be of certain strength to feel useful in wars. We are currently battling to stay at 20 and reaching out to other teams for help, but I am honestly getting tired of trying to save and rebuild our team. In the past we had two months between races. A month to rebuild and a month to enjoy before the shit hits the fan again. We now had three races in two months and are now just limping along. We are reaching out to other teams that seem to be in a similar situation. I can't believe that it is that hard to find 30 good players that love to war together and don't keep on chasing race monsters....

....looks like we'll be down to 15 soon. Had three more players quit because it's no fun playing anymore and more leave to other teams. I fear Australia Rocks will be no more soon... :(
