Totally agree with @Ekto-Gamat if they insist on selling it for hard earned cash, then provide the option to just get rid of it for those that don't want to spend their money on it. It's a useless, ugly looming shadow that just annoys the hell out of me 😠

@ekto-gamat said in 499 gems for 120 Helgudin Cells:

I saw an 'outrageous' offer like this for another elite monster

That was O'Reilly and the funny thing is that they are not even classified as 'elite'. They just put a Dodge Area tax on those as it seems - just ludicrous 😠

Well, I put in an official complaint with the ACCC in Australia just to find out that mobile games do not fall under the jurisdiction of any regulatory bodies in Australia. In a recent article I read, it said that politicians here don't see the need to regulate as there is not enough evidence that it creates gambling addiction problems (wonder where they get that from). Keep in mind that Australia is the country with the second highest rate of gambling spending just after Hong Kong. I'd say it's because that tax income on gambling profits is quite sizeable, so why dry up a good source of government income.....

look at it with benefit of the doubt and just for a second, assume they had good intentions.

I think the only intention they had in mind was making a few more sales, I highly doubt that anything else was behind this!

@gazza I highly doubt that any game developer will remove them willingly as they have proven to work well. We can only hope that the government regulators will have the balls to put an end to this unethical sales tactic. They seem to be slowly getting there in Europe....

@monsterbath said in What to do with bad diamond relic?:

I do think the chests should use some feature to detect your current relics and not give you a duplicate until you have them all.

Could backfire, too, as you then won't be able to get for example a second Tenacity Shield until you have all other relics and you can't fuse crap diamonds into more useful relics as you then end up getting those again until you have them all - so no, whilst I am not a big fan of RNG, I rather have it as it is!!!

It should be quite simple, if the player that disconnects can't re-establish connection within say 30 seconds then it's an automatic loss and then the other player hanging in limbo wins. No idea why this is so hard to implement 🤔

I'm kind of glad that my kids have stopped playing ML, but when the cave first came out I had to explain the "all or nothing" gambling mechanic behind this feature to my kids and warned them to not waste their precious few gems on it. I find it disgusting that such mechanics are allowed in games played by children!!! 😠

Yes, Ekto is correct - attack relic triggers first then defence relics if still alive! So whilst I haven't encountered that situation, I would expect the mask to add stamina BEFORE the Oblation Trap removes it....
