@ArCLoRd said in Dungeon master 72 hour challenge- WORST I have seen for high level players:

@drewish I actually play the game since 2014(back when the game actually started) and I know the difference between being an old player and a new one, I also know that the game is not "balanced and fair for everyone" as they would like us to think. The "silly concept" that you are laughing at is actually pretty decent and there are a few points to back it up, so unless you have some stronger facts and decent points, please dont insult me or my "silly concept"!

My post about the "silly concept" was not directed at you ArCLoRd but at the "guest" who was saying that SP is doing this to make new players feel like they have a chance against higher level players. I've been around since 2014 as well and from 4 years of experience I will say this is SP messing up and not caring more than it is an effort to help ANYONE. In the last year+ very little SP has done has been to benifit players vs increase revenue. But this thread isn't about that, this is more a case of another SP "over sight" than an intentional effort. My whole point this whole time is the event is broken, how can you justifiably have higher requirements when there are no higher benifits?? I can grow MAX 2.8 million food per hour, a level 90 can grow max 2.8 million food per hour, I get 288 coins for that effort, they get 1000+. This CAN'T be explained.

    Actually...

    1. Most older/high level players already have a bunchful of monsters at rank 5 level 130, of each book and element

Not really, most PAYING players may have 130's but paying and level have little to do with each other. I'm level 125 and have 1 level 130 from the race reward.

    1. Old players used to buy team war monsters with 800 war coins, now they cost 2500 for generals and less for rest

I always love this one, when Generals were 800 coins the lab wasn't around MOST people didn't buy multiple copies of each general for cheap because there was no reason to!

    1. High level players have ranked monsters thus are given a clear advantage in nemesis dungeons because newer players can only obtain about 10 cells of each nemesis

Again you're confusing level with PtP players. Pay to play players have paid for their advantahe and that is their right but that is not what makes a high level player.

    1. High level players have a very good roster of monsters and also a high monster power thus having it easy to land into a good team

I'm not sure what you mean by this, there are very good teams at all levels that earn LOTS of war coins. I've been on teams ranked in the 10,000 ranges that make over 300 coins per war.

last but not least, most older players have enough monsters to gain all vips from breeding event while new players bother to get at least one of those monsters(luck is assumed to be same for both categories)

Yes one would expect the longer you play the more monsters you have but SP also makes almost all the breeding monsters available through breeding events or to be purchased with gems.

This is pretty much the only event that is stacked against players. Progressives are the same for everyone, Mazes are the same for everyone, Races have the same tasks for everyone, bur 72 hr events are broken for high level players. If I got the same coins and the same prizes as a level 90 I would be THRILLED, why, because I can only produce the exact same as a level 90 player.

@Haka-Taka just harvested 2.8 million food = 288 coins, replanted and sped up 287 coins. No change.

I actually WAS laughing at how silly that concept is. I'm guessing your pretty new to the game, eapecially since you refer to higher level players as "dinosaurs". So your belief is that by giving newer players an easier time with the event it will make them feel like they stand a chance against higher level players. Well I gotta be the one to say.. welcome to the game, we hope you enjoy it, we love when new players who are just starting out get involved in the community! One day you will learn what people are actually talking about but till then have a great time and happy gaming.

LMAO!!! New players challenging the existing base!! That is the absolute worst rationalization I have ever seen!!! The power gap between a level 130 Nemisis (or full stable of them in fact) and a level 100, 105 or even 110 Legend is staggering. There is such a gap in the player base and any "new" players that plan to compete at an "elite" (not my word!) level will have to spend big money. So giving a level 80 player a 1 star (or even 3 1 star) DM's will somehow bridge this gap?!? This event is broken plain and simple, there are 4 ways to get coins, PvP, Breeding, Collecting food, and Collecting Gold. So SP please explain how many more habitats a level 130 player has over a level 90, how many more farms does a level 130 have, how many extra PvP attacks do higher level players get, how many more breeding and hatching spots do you get for being higher level??? Yeah exactly, there is ZERO benifit to being a higher level but there is a HUGE penalty.

@Suzznee said in Reforming team to win team races now a must:

@drewish Giving our rewards of the exclusive monster would cost SP more in the long run then the way it is. Not sure where you think they will make more money this way even if people spend more. They would be giving out more monsters. One seems to forget they make money on these monsters after races with those who didn't win them and on cell sales. If they gave them out to every person that did x amount of laps more people would have it.

I agree Suzznee I don't think my "solution" would generate any more revenue either, my 2 posts we're somewhat disconnected. My 1st post was in reply to Ecto that I don't see locking people into teams will be a good way to stop "race teams" as MANY team just wouldn't bother (IMO!). My 2nd post was my solution to the "race team" issue, which sadly has the same draw back as most recommendations it doesn't really lead to increase revenue so it's doubtful it would gain traction either.

Just fix the reward system, every team that reaches a certain number of laps gets the exclusive monster, its that simple. If every team that hits say 15 - 20 laps gets a 3 star race monster 90% of race teams go away. Then any team that hits 20-25 laps gets the 70 elementium, then any team that does 25-30 laps gets the bonus L monster. Or reverse the prize order in the example above, Legend 1st, then Elementium, then ranked race monster. Make the current finishing place prizes teirs, if you finish with 2 laps that earns an epic, 4 laps earns a legend "A", 6 laps earns a different legend "B", 8 laps a different legend "C". These would NOT be cumulative, so you don't get A+B+C, it's teirs A or B or C ect....

A better selling point: SP, you are allowing certain teams to get race monsters for far less resources than is intended. If you think races provide great revenue now, think of the resources you will get if every team is forced to stick to their intended race group!

Sorry gotta disagree with this logic, eliminating "race teams" will infact cost them revenue. The fact that race team are even created illustrates this. Race teams are willing to spend the resources to do the 14-20+ laps to win a race, but those teams are obvioulsy not willing to spend those same resources to do 14-20+ laps and come in 2nd - 20th. So in fact you'll see less revenue as more people will "give up" based on these bogus matching brackets. The same teams that are "racing" now and doing 30, 40, 50+ laps will continue to spend like normal, and "race teams" just won't spend at all. Sorry this "solution" actually hurts SP revenue.

@Kaiju said in How do you really feel about team races:

If SP thought that your idea would work, I think they would have implemented it already.

Maybe, maybe not, from what I've seen in the last couple years SP is very slow to change, but from the little we've seen it's somewhat how the boss raid event is going to work, if it is and they replace the races with this format I would be super happy. Only time will tell. :)

I wouldn't mind the races if they didn't cause all the other issues, and were actually TEAM races, how is first member to breed 7 Epics a team event??? These are gem events and that is fine but the matching system is a huge problem people are less and less willing to spend gems on a race when its easier and WAAAY cheaper to switch another team or form a race team. We can argue all day long about race teams being fair or not but all SP has to do is make it so that ANY team that reaches a certain number of laps gets the exclusive monster and other awards and boom race teams and team switching is done! If we have to do 20 laps to get the exclusive monster fine but doing 20 laps and another team doing 21 and and getting an older 2nd place monster isn't worth what it costs to do 20 laps. SP could easily improve these races and increase gem sales, if all teams have a shot at the exclusive monster all teams will be more likely to work for that monster, instead of just 1 or 2 teams.
