After about 5 years of DC playing and level 101, i have now uninstalled it. This 'event' was the last straw. I love the community but the gameplay got too demanding and unfair on players looking to spend moderate amounts on it.
Good luck all, i'll miss the community!
I am thoroughly frustrated by node 17.3, where you're supposed to do 6 quest battles. You have to wait for 5 new battles (ok, 4 because one I got from the free spin) with a wait time between 6 and 8 hours, which, with only one quest available, means AT LEAST 1 day for one node!!!
I am not being dramatic but this node just took away my motivation to continue with this race. Very disappointing!!
I think many players share my frustration with having to keep themselves the time accounting of the pools status in the Heroic Races, looking at the clock to see when they have emptied the pool, adding the wait time to see when they can get the next mission element, checking the time (or setting an alarm) to go back to the race again etc.
Wouldn't it be more useful if the interface would do that accounting for the player? Something like a progress bar that would let the user know how many mission points have been collected vs how many are available at the moment in the pool vs total points in the mission? Maybe color coded (green = completed, yellow = available in the pool but not completed, grey = not available yet)? It can look like the health bars in the dragon rescue battles...
And for a bonus idea, coupling the above system with a countdown like the one for each fight but extended to the other mission types?
To be more explicit: Say you have a mission to collect 10 gold with a pool of 7 and a wait time of 5 minutes.
- At the beginning of the mission, you would see 7 yellow dots and 3 grey dots
- you collect two points, you now have 2 green dots, 5 yellow dots, 3 grey ones and a clock counting down from 5 minutes.
- when the clock reaches 0:00, it starts counting down again from 5:00 but now you have 2 green dots, 6 yellow ones and 2 greys.
- when the clock reaches 0:00 again, the counter stops and you have 2 greens, 7 yellows and 1 grey.
Anybody finds this idea useful?
