After his student Rociuko turned her back on him, Kihaku decided he couldn’t take any chances with the next pupil under his watch, so instead of accepting someone new, he took an old relic he owned and broke it to extract a piece of amber in its core. He used the amber to create his very own perfect disciple. That’s how Noar was born, with her reptilian agility and instincts.
However, once again, Kihaku ended up feeling like he had failed because, as Noar grew up, her interest turned towards boxing instead of traditional martial arts. Kihaku had created the perfect fighter, just not the one he’d been trying to create.
Noar is a Nature Attacker with extra turns. With the right combo, she can perform up to 4 attacks in a row, dealing damage and applying effects such as Bleed and Daze. She can also remove negative status effects from herself and gain Life and Stamina Regeneration. Noar has an Evolving Trait: At rank 0, she's Immune to Blind, at rank 1, she gains Immunity to Daze and, at rank 3, she becomes a Status Caster, gaining Stamina Regeneration at the start of every battle.
When Queen Thalassa returned to her throne, she put her daughter Thetys and her friends under strict surveillance to avoid them causing a new riot. She knew she couldn’t keep them like that forever, but she didn’t expect them to escape either. So when Thetys disappeared along with her squad, Thalassa realized that she couldn’t underestimate her daughter and, instead of abandoning the Throne of the Water Realms to go on a search journey herself, she recruited a very special monster for the job: Ondana.
Thalassa had met Ondana in one of her adventures with the Warmasters, when Babari explained the use of Mythic Amber to the group. Thalassa had told him about her fear that she wasn’t able to fully control what went on within her immense realm, so when Babari gave her a piece of amber, Ondana was born out of thin air.
Ever since she remained Queen Thalassa’s faithful servant. Wherever Thalassa needed her to go, Ondana went, so if there was someone who could find the queen's rogue daughter and her friends, that was Ondana.
Ondana is a Water Support monster with Stamina Drains and Positive Effect Removals. She can also gain an extra turn, disable an enemy's trait or apply Drowned to all enemies. Ondana has an Evolving Trait: at rank 0, she's Immune to Freeze, at rank 1, she casts Super Attuned upon all her allies, and at rank 3, she doubles the Maximum Stamina of all her allies at the start of the battle.
Karlo was a really tiny firefly living in the botanic gardens of the Light Kingdom. He was a moonlight-fed smart little bug who had always wanted something more than to live in the gardens. He wanted to take part in court life.
On every night of full moon, when he was feeling most confident, he entered the castle and tried to mingle with King Daeron’s counsellors. But no one took him seriously. Most monsters barely saw him at all.
It took a foreigner from another kingdom to recognize Karlo’s talent. Her name was Erder and she was in the Light Kingdom as an honor guest of Queen Luthien. She took the time to listen to Karlo and decided to help him.
“Take this piece of amber, or… well, with your size, it’s better if you just stand on top of it.”, told him Erder. “ Concentrate on your wish and the stone will help you in the most unexpected way.”
Karlo followed Erder’s instructions and, seconds later, a white spirit was born. Karlo decided to call him Moonhaze. It was like a projection of his own spirit but in the shape of a full-size monster. It’s Karlo’s time to find his place in the Light Court through Moonhaze’s body.
Moonhaze is a Light Controller with Support capabilities. He has multiple ways of stopping enemies and several skills to help his allies: He can clean their negative effects, protect them with Photophobic Shields, and boost their damage by making them Dark Haters. Moonhaze has an Evolving Trait: at rank 0, he's Hardened, at rank 1, he gains True Vision and, at rank 3, he becomes a Status Caster, gaining Possession Immunity at the start of the battle.
Monster Legends' birthday is coming up and this year we turn 6 years old! We want to celebrate the anniversary with all of you so you can count on a lot of exciting events and birthday gifts all throughout June.

Radiation works in mysterious ways. When Sergeant Hull Head resurrected as a zombie after his dead body was buried in nuclear waste for years, Dr. Marihelson decided to further study the properties of it. He took a piece of Mythic Amber and buried it in highly radioactive waste, thinking it would immediately create a supernatural substance he’d be able to use, but nothing happened. Disappointed, he abandoned his experiment without even recovering the amber.
If he had just stayed there for a couple more weeks, he would’ve witnessed the results of his experiment — the birth of JoshDub, a Mythic monster with extraordinary powers, ready to enter any battlefield and walk out of it victorious.
JoshDub is a Metal Attacker with high damage output and great durability. He has powerful area attacks. He can protect himself by healing, restoring his stamina, cleaning his negative effects, and gaining Evasion. He also has an attack in which he gains a Shield while damaging enemies, and then gets an extra turn! To increase his chances of hitting, he can also gain Precision before he gains an extra turn. JoshDub has an Evolving Trait: At rank 0, he's Immune to Immediate Death; at rank 1, he gains Immunity to Stun and, at rank 3, he becomes Immune to Possession.
After Quaxalcroc took over the throne of the Aztecs, everyone thought that the old emperor would be gone forever, but the crown had been in Mountezuma’s dynasty for centuries, and he wasn’t going to let it go so easily. He had a trick up his sleeve, literally. It was there where he hid the only jewel he was able to take into exile — only one jewel, but the only one he needed.
He went to the outskirts of the empire. There stood the monument of his oldest ancestor and founder of the empire, Azte. Mountezuma took the jewel and placed it inside a little hole the statue had, awakening the spirit of Azte!
Azte was a fair and beloved emperor, nothing like his descendant Mountezuma. Who will he support? After all, Mountezuma has brought nothing but shame to his dynasty of emperors, but Quaxalcroc would be the end of it!
Azte is a Nature Controller with Possession skills. He can also apply Poison and Damage Reduction to all enemies or gain True Vision and lose status effects. Azte has an Evolving Trait: at rank 0, he's Immune to Stun; at rank 1, he becomes Immune to Poison, and at rank 3, he gains Precision at the start of every battle.
Knightingale had always wanted to be a superhero – instill fear in villains and draw admiration from other heroes. She had the talent and the will, but lacked just one thing; a signature superpower! So, she thought “I just need a little push, a little touch of magic to get me there. I’d do anything to become a superhero.” Malair, the Supervillain big boss, found out how badly she wanted it, and decided to use this to his advantage.
“I can provide the glory you are looking for. Everyone will love you. All you need to do is come to my hideout with me”, said Malair.
The offer was too attractive, so Knightingale followed Malair into his hideout. He had a superhero suit tailored for her and, when she was dressed for success, he showed her a little gemstone in the shape of a tear. “The minute I place this in the middle of your mask, you’ll be a superhero!”. What he didn’t tell her is that, because he was the one to activate the amber gemstone, its magic would obey his wishes, not Knightingale’s. Her signature superpower? Lethal slashes.
And that’s the story of how Malair created his first Mythic Supervillain. You should’ve never trusted him, Knightingale.
