"Rubellus was the king of a Mushroom Kingdom. They all lived in a cave and he earned his crown because he was the biggest and the strongest by far. For that reason, he never thought anyone would dare to question his authority, until one day, he discovered that one of his subjects was planning a coup against him.

He decided to punish him in a way no one would forget: He ate him whole, in one bite. By doing so, he absorbed his victim’s energy, but the mushroom flesh he ingested acted like a hallucinogen and made him paranoid. He started seeing traitors everywhere, and with every subject he believed to be a traitor, he repeated the same punishment: He ate them.

After some time, the inevitable happened: King Rubellus had no subjects left. All his allies in other Nature kingdoms turned their back on this crazed ruler-of-none, horrified both by his brutal strength and by his story of cannibalism.

Now Rubellus is alone, insane, and forsaken by everyone, but within, he’s got the physical power of his entire dead kingdom, and he’ll go any lengths to prove he’s still the King.

Rubellus is a Nature Tank with Megataunt, Taunt, and several Tortures, like Burn Poison, and Nightmares. He can remove negative effects from himself and gain Immunity to Control. He can also MegaStun and Daze an enemy or gain MegaTaunt and Damage Mirror. He has an evolving Trait: Taunt at Rank 0, Area Nature Protection at Rank 1, Megataunt Status Caster at rank 3, and finally, at rank 5, he gains Abomination. "

"Drekk, also known as “The Healer Dragon”, received lots of visits to his lair from monsters with serious wounds. With a mere touch of his leaves, the ugliest scar would be healed. However, his brother Grakon was fed up with having his home invaded by strangers every day, so he spent his time scaring visitors away. He became famous for being The Dragon Healer’s troublesome brother, and Drekk ended up having to ask him to leave the lair. Now Grakon is trouble on the loose!

Grakon is an Elite Nature Control monster. His skills include Stuns and Cooldown Activations, as well as multiple Tortures (Poison, Curse, Burn, and Bleed). He's very tricky to deal with! Grakon is Immune to Possession and Hardened."

Ever since General Nishant took Samael’s brother, Ismael, and crushed him into Cells, Samael’s only mission in life has been to find the General, defeat him, take his brother’s Cells and bring him back to life. He traded secrets from the Good Legions in exchange for information about Nishant’s whereabouts and, after the Lords of the Good Legions found out and banished him from their ranks, he turned to Dark monsters, looking for followers. There were lots of Dark monsters fascinated by Samael’s powers, especially the ones he used in order to play with both life and death, so it wasn’t long before he had built a personal army.

His Dark soldiers infiltrated General Nishant’s ranks and discovered where his secret headquarters were. Samael headed there with his entire army behind him. He went through the gates of the fort and reached the main hall but, when he walked in, he was met by someone he could’ve never expected: his brother Ismael… except he didn’t look the same as before Nishant had taken his life. He was something like a Dark spirit, an ethereal dead version of himself, just floating under a hood in the middle of the hall. As dead as he looked, he also looked almighty, invincible.

Samael commanded his troops to halt the operation and he slowly approached the floating spirit, but then a voice started speaking from the shadows behind it.

“Welcome, Samael! I see you’ve already met my latest creation and best new soldier. I like to call him Nisael. Doesn't he remind you of someone? Hahahahaha! Oh, yes… When I took your brother, I crushed him into Cells, thinking I could use them to boost my own power, but I turned out to be wrong. His Cells were too pure to blend well with my own. That was a setback, I won’t deny it… But I always have a plan B, and you’re looking at my plan B right here! I recrafted Ismael using a couple of Dark tricks here and there, and… Ta-dah! Nisael came out. Would you like to test him? Don’t worry about hurting your brother, it’s more than likely he’ll be the one hurting you, hahahaha!”

General Nishant’s words echoed inside Samael’s head and, for some seconds, he stood frozen. His first thought was that he couldn’t leave his brother there, forsaken in the claws of the monster who had killed him, but then he thought “Is he even my brother anymore?”. The pressure of having his whole army waiting for his command by his side and seeing Nishant’s red eyes relishing in his confusion right in front of him was driving him mad. He was still thinking when Nishant spoke again:

“Think about this: Nisael, you, and me. We could rule everything if the three of us joined forces. I have my Dark army, this fort, and Nisael. You have your skills and your followers. And Nisael is the closest thing to invincible. You could be reunited with your brother. Make a decision.”

Power or vengeance… a tough decision for Samael.

    0_1576843122726_Nisael sheet.png

Nisael is a Forsaken Dark Support monster. He has impressive skills, like resurrecting an ally and give him an extra turn, Evasion and Double Damage in one move! He can also resurrect all his allies at once with Damage Increase and Evasion, or remove positive and negative effects in one move. Several of his skills remove Life by percentages, which makes Nisael great against bosses and Tanks. He pressures his enemies by applying Death Countdowns to them and, in his special skill, he defeats an enemy immediately. Nisael has an Evolving Trait: He's Tough at rank 0, Bulwark at rank 1, he gains Anticipation at rank 3, and at rank 4, he becomes a status caster, protecting the cooldowns of his allies.

Thundeer loved to bring gifts to baby monsters, but after he was struck by lightning, his appearance became too scary, so he had an idea: He traveled for weeks to find a famous creator: Ingenica. He met her and explained his situation: He wanted her help to build a machine that would look cool and strong, but friendly in a way that baby monsters wouldn’t be afraid of it. Ingenica worked on it for months, and when it was ready, Thundeer went to pick it up. She had created a state-of-the-art robot that wasn’t scary, but it was definitely impressive. It could get through cold storms and even face villains if they tried to get in the way of Thundeer’s wonderful mission. She had called the artifact Santerion. Thundeer fell in love with it from the moment he saw it. He thanked Ingenica and took it to his home forest with him.

Soon he realized that Santerion was capable of doing a lot of work for him and that, together, they could deliver many more gifts to many more monsters. Once a year, they both go out together and travel from village to village surprising monsters. Thundeer chooses the gifts and the lucky receivers, and Santerion does the delivery while Thundeer enjoys the monsters’ joy from afar. Perfect team!

Santerion is a Metal MegaTaunt Tank. His skill set includes debuffs like Daze and Damage Reduction. He can also apply random Tortures and random Debuffs to his enemies, as well as random Protections to his allies. He can heal both himself and his allies and gain Life and Stamina Regeneration. Santerion has an Evolving Trait: At rank 0, he is Hardened and can cast MegaTaunt at the start of the battle. At rank 1, his Status Caster skill is replaced by MegaTaunt as a trait. At rank 3, his Hardened trait is replaced by Artifact, and at rank 4, he becomes a Status Caster again, applying Damage Reduction to all enemies at the start of the battle."

When Thundeer was young, he loved to bring lots of gifts from his home forest to the baby monsters in the neighboring villages. Whether it was wild berries or magical stones, Thundeer always had something thoughtful yet simple for everyone. But then, something happened and everything changed. Thundeer was struck by lightning! That made him incredibly strong, but his appearance became too imposing for baby monsters. They got scared of him and stopped wanting him around, even if he came bearing gifts. He felt lonely and forsaken, and he hid away in the forest, too afraid to come out in case he would scare everyone away. He didn’t mind if he and the young monsters couldn’t be friends anymore, he just wanted to do something nice for them from time to time. So he had an idea: He traveled for weeks to find a famous creator: Ingenica.

Thundeer met Ingenica and explained his situation and the idea he’d had: He wanted her help to build a machine that would look cool and strong, but friendly in a way that baby monsters wouldn’t be afraid of it. Ingenica was so moved by Thundeer’s story that she offered to build him an artifact for free.

Now that Thundeer has this new artifact called Santerion, they can deliver many more gifts to many more monsters. Once a year, they both go out together and travel from village to village surprising monsters. Thundeer chooses the gifts and the lucky receivers, and Santerion does the delivery while Thundeer enjoys the monsters’ joy from afar. Perfect team!

Meet Kihaku’s apprentice, Rociuko. For years, Rociuko has been an obedient and responsive student, but she’s tired of being just a student. She has a lot of potential, and she keeps asking Kihaku about her favorite field: the dark arts, but every time she does, all she gets is a mean answer: “Why do you keep asking these kind of questions? Are you a witch? You’re not a witch, you’re a Light apprentice”. At this point, she’s had enough. She can either kill her master or leave him and teach him a lesson. She prefers the second option, so she’s designed a plan.

Rociuko’s going to abandon Kihaku’s dojo in the middle of the night and join an old enemy of his: Harusami. Kihaku defeated this Dark samurai a long time ago and, after that battle, Harusami decided to retire. However, Rociuko knows that nothing would make Kihaku angrier than seeing his enemy rise again thanks to the infinite power of his very own apprentice. He will regret having underestimated Rociuko, because now she’ll make Harusami her puppet and Kihaku her victim.

Rociuko is a Light monster with Supporter, Debuffer, and Torturer. She disarms enemies making them weak to various elements in one move or removing their positive status effects. Also in just one move, she can apply several Tortures. Rociuko helps her allies by cleaning their negative effects. Rociuko has an Evolving Trait: At rank 0, she's a Piercer, at rank 1, she gains Anticipation, and at rank 3, she becomes Immune to Control.

With the new Team Wars Season, we bring the promised changes and updates.

    Legendary League status
Until last season when your team reached Legendary League, it was labeled as Legendary and went into the fixed matchmaking the whole season. With the new season, if your team is below top 100 and you lose 2 consecutive wars, you will drop out of the fixed matchmaking. If your team is around the 100 position, you’re in a war that you lose, and you drop below 100, it already counts as 1 war lost.

We have increased elasticity of Trophies.

    Toggle opt-out for Legendary Leagues
To make it clear if you are opt-out or opt-in for the matchmaking, we have added a toggle function instead of the button.

    Bonus Trophies
There is a new tooltip for Bonus Trophies that explains the reason for the bonus.

    Off-season extension

Since we have all these changes prepared, we will be extending the current offseason and start the new season with improvements on Monday.

Yedra and Son-Cookie have been friends for many years, or at least many more than Son-Cookie would’ve liked to be “just friends”. She's cheerful, cute, and extremely good on the battleground. All she talks about is fighting strategy. That's what Son-Cookie likes the most, and he can't help being deeply in love with her.

However, he’s too afraid of telling her how he feels, so last year, for Xmas, he gave Yedra a corsage of mistletoe, hoping she would hang it up and they could kiss underneath it. But when Yedra opened the box, she took the mistletoe and said: “Cool! I think I can make a weapon out of this!”, and indeed, with some work, she incorporated it into her moves.

It looks like Son-Cookie's going to have to be less subtle this year!

Crabbydroid was a happy hermit crab living a simple life with his family under the sea. Unknown to him at the time, the side of the sea he called home was situated by an industrial estate where Global Mech Ltd. had established its headquarters. Little by little, the water around his family’s habitat started turning green and, before long, trash actually started to cover the seabed.

After a massively successful Black Friday Campaign in which they sold thousands of Positrons, Global Mech threw 200 tons of mechanical waste into the sea. Tragedy struck, right on top of Crabbydroid’s family. He was devastated, and made it his job to warn everyone else in his area that they must protect themselves. Otherwise, they would be next. He started gathering pieces of trash - which at that point was pretty much everywhere - to build himself an armor, a mechanical exoskeleton that served both as a protection and as a weapon. The problem was that the armor, which made him look very impressive to most creatures in the sea, wasn’t well-received by his fellow crabs. Crabbydroid was told that he looked like a jellyfish, that he had lost his mind, and that he was an ex-crab, among other comments.

He felt so alone… he had lost his family, estranged by the crab community… he was forsaken. But he didn’t give up: He kept on improving his armor, making it bigger, scarier, and focusing on the damage he could deal with it; and he changed his strategy. He thought, “if I cannot make everyone protect themselves from the enemy, I will destroy the enemy”. And he knew just the right date to act.
On the anniversary of the tragedy, right before they could ruin what remained of the crabs’ habitats with their trash, Crabbydroid activated every engine on his armor, he rose above Global Mech’s headquarters, dragging all the trash from the seabed, and he dropped it on top of the factory, destroying absolutely everything.

There’s no doubt that Crabbydroid’s days of having to hear mocking are over. It’s most probably the end of Global Mech too.

Ursus and his older brother Voytek grew up without their parents, but everything was alright, because they had each other. When they were little, they played superheroes, and Voytek even gave Ursus a red cape for his seventh birthday. They loved fighting against each other, and they dreamed of a future where they’d go out into the world as a great battle team. But one day, a monster with a long coat came along. He and Voytek spoke for a long while, and after that, Voytek said he had to leave and go to war. Ursus didn’t understand what was going on, all he wanted to do was follow Voytek, but the answer was a very conclusive “no”.

“Listen to me, Ursus, you’re going to stay here, taking care of our lair and all our stuff, just like I’ve taught you. I need you to train in combat every day, and when I come back, we will join the big leagues together. I promise.” — said Voytek.

And right after that, he left. Months went by, years went by,… Ursus spent every single day training, but his brother never returned, so he decided to leave the lair. He felt like his talent was being wasted, and he resented every day he waited. He started traveling and investigating about the war Voytek had been recruited for, and it wasn’t long before he found out that his bloc had lost.

He began to think that his brother was dead, but then, a monster who went by the name of Herr Kommissar gave him hope: “Voytek? I remember him! We fought on the same side. He was such a ferocious fighter that the winning side wouldn’t trust him to keep his head down, so they sent him away to the cold mountains of the north. The last thing I heard is that he’s nowan ice miner under the control of the Water Legions.” Ursus knew what he had to do. He thanked Herr Kommissar, and he started his long journey.

He reached the mountains and started climbing. At the beginning, the thick layers of snow and ice almost ruined his mission, but little by little, he learned how to control the elements and even found a way to make weapons out of ice. It was tough, but he made it to the top, and just like Herr Kommissar had told him, Voytek was there. He was guarded by soldiers, but the minute the brothers saw each other, there was nothing anyone could do to stop them. They defeated all the soldiers superhero-style and took control of the top of the mountain!

“Wow, little brother,… you really did train all these years” —said Voytek jokingly.

Who would dare to take the mountain from them now?

The Cardinal Forest has been through a lot lately. Invasions, assaults,… The list is endless, but its inhabitants have been able to overcome all of it by sticking together, or at least that’show it seemed. When the representatives of all life forms got together to discuss important matters, they always seemed to forget a part of the forest: the swamp. Maybe because it’s quite different from the rest, maybe because it’s not as beautiful and radiant, not as full of brightly colored flowers. It’s darker and it smells less fresh than on the mountain side.

Whatever the reason was, when Zahra, Talika, General Alces, and the other spirits of the forest held their meetings, they always seemed to leave out the representative of all swamp creatures: Wickah, and this hadn’t gone unnoticed to her or to anyone under her protection. So, when for the millionth time, Wickah heard about a Forest Council Meeting being held without her, she decided to show up. She headed into the heart of the forest and there they were, all the ancient spirits, all but herself.

“Oh! Is this a Forest Council Meeting? I can’t believe my invitation got lost… again. I guess the path to the swamp is just too slippery for any of your messengers to walk along.” — said Wickah sarcastically. But then she changed to a more serious tone: “You can fight alien invasions but you can’t bring yourself to approach my side of the forest? You’ve been ignoring me and the creatures of the swamp, because you are blind. You don’t know how to see beauty in decay like I see it, you don’t know how to appreciate any beauty except for the one you see in your own kind. But this is going to change. The swamp is a rich biosphere full of monsters… Intelligent monsters, strong monsters. Monsters that will no longer be forsaken or accept hiding away for your convenience.

“So you don’t like the swamp? Well that’s too bad, because it’s about to become BIG. For centuries, you’ve all allowed monsters from outside to take our lands, but I am going to reclaim them. That village on the west edge? I’ll make it part of the swamp. That vampire’s castle? I’ll cover it in moss and give it to my monsters. The swamp’s territory is going to be so wide that you won’t be able to ignore us anymore. In order to go anywhere, you’ll have to cross our lands.” — she warned them all. At this point, she had managed to attract their full attention, which had never happened.

“Now, I won’t waste another minute. You’ll hear from me, and you’ll know where to find me, so I’m looking forward to receiving the invitation to the next Council Meeting. I really hope it doesn’t get lost this time. For me it would be an insult, but for you… for you it would mean staying trapped on your side of the forest forever, so make sure you assign me your best messenger.”

Without another word, Wickah left the heart of the forest and everyone remained silent, simply breathing in the stagnant water aroma Wickah had left behind. Now they all knew they had made a big mistake by ignoring creatures of the swamp. This time, the problem had come from inside their home, and they only had themselves to blame.

    Hi everyone,

We were rolling out the new version of the game on Android and, in the process, we found a few issues and had to take down the update from the start in order to fix them. This means that some players who already updated to version 9.2.7 will experience the following:

    • Empty Team Battlegrounds fields
This is a known bug and in this case please contact our Customer Support through in-game settings.

    • Maze Coins Dungeon crashes (includes 9.2.5 and 9.2.6 as well)
If you tap on the Maze Coins Dungeon icon in the maze, the game crashes. However, you can bypass this bug and access the Dungeon via the icon in the event/offer bar on the right.

Wildbird was tasked with protecting a garden of golden apples with very valuable golden seeds, which are used to fuel a portal between dimensions. The lord of the portal chose Wildbird because of his power, but also because of his loyalty. For years, Wildbird guarded the garden restlessly. He never really got to talk much or to see anyone, and he was a bit lonely, but his sense of duty kept him as effective as when he started — until he met someone.
Her name was Zunobia. In the beginning, she simply dropped by the garden’s gates looking lost and asking for directions, but ended up staying there and talking to Wildbird. She was so charming, she reminded him a little of himself, with her beak and her feathers…. He fell for her immediately. She seemed to be very interested in what he was keeping in the garden, and he proudly explained everything about the apples, and the seeds, and how it was his duty to guard them. He wanted to impress her and, at least apparently, it seemed to work, because the next day, she was back! Zunobia kept returning to talk to him for weeks on end, Wildbird was deeply in love with her, but then one day she said:

"You know I can’t stay here anymore, I’ve got nothing and I’m earning nothing while I’m here. I want to go somewhere else. Why don’t you come with me? We could take a bunch of those golden seeds you’re protecting and live on them for the rest of our lives.”

Wildbird was in shock. Zunobia was asking him not only to abandon his duty, but also to actively betray his lord and steal from him.
“Are you crazy? I can’t do that! Duty is everything to me…” he said.
“Everything? I thought we had something good here… Come on, show me what you got! Show me the garden I can do the dirty work myself if you can’t bring yourself to do it.”

In the end, she convinced him to let her into the garden. He opened the gates for her and allowed her to take everything she wanted. He didn’t even want to look, so he just waited outside. And he waited… and he waited… and then he turned around and entered the garden to check what was taking Zunobia so long. But she wasn’t there anymore. There was only a note that said “I’m sorry”. She had escaped with the golden seeds, but without him. He was forsaken.

He then understood why she had shown all that interest in the garden from the very beginning. She wasn’t lost, she knew what was in there from the very beginning. Wildbird felt like his entire future was meaningless. He was alone again and he couldn’t stay at his lord’s service after having betrayed him. He had all his power and nothing to do with it: no job, nobody to protect… but at the same time, he realized he could do anything. He could start fresh, serving no one but himself. He was free to travel and free to meet other monsters.

It’s a new day, it’s a new life for Wildbird. Multiverse of Monster Legends, are you ready for him?

Wildbird is a Thunder Pierce Attacker, and the first representative of a new collection of monsters: The Forsaken. He has high damage attacks along with a Pierce status effect which he gains thanks to his Status Caster trait, so he can bypass protective skills. His moves include Tortures and MegaStun, and he can also protect himself with Evasion and Damage Mirror, and he can buff his damage output. His trait is Hardened at rank 0, gains Status Caster with Pierce at rank 1, adds Area Stun Immunity at rank 3, and at rank 5, he Protects his Positive Status Effects.

There are new monsters coming to the Monster Legends Multiverse, and they’re very special. The Forsaken are monsters who, without knowing each other, share something very special, extraordinary power.

They also share some attributes that are important in the game:

    • Forsaken monster Cells aren’t shareable.
    • Monster Masters will only be able to have one copy of each Forsaken monster.
    • Elementium and Elemental Cells won’t work to rank up these unique creatures.
    • Only with their own Cells will you be able to craft their eggs or bring their powers to the next level.

The first Forsaken Monsters will appear in the upcoming mazes (Heroe's Faith and Wickah's Lair) so keep your eyes peeled and get ready for the Forsaken!

    Monster Masters,

Following the launch of the Legends Pass, we have been analyzing whether it makes sense to have two Passes in the game at once. In the end, we’ve come to a decision to simplify things and remove the Premium Pass.

This means that the Premium Pass will no longer be available for purchase after November 19th. Players who purchase it before then will be able to benefit from its perks until it expires.

In the future, perhaps some of the perks of the Premium Pass will also be included in the Legends Pass.

New dungeons are waiting for those who embraced their Questing side and have acquired any of the Quest monsters. You will have a great opportunity to put them into good use every month in the Quest Dungeon where only Quest monsters are a rule.

    Starts: November 11th

    New Quest Book
Have a bad memory and don’t remember which Monsters we are talking about? Don’t become disheartened, we got you covered with a new Quest Book available in the Library. It contains all the current Quest Monsters but it will also hint the upcoming ones.
    0_1573221284751_book quest.png

How is this going to work?
As you know, currently, when playing the Quest event you need to participate in the breeding to receive a key that opens the Quest Survival Dungeon. This remains the same.

However, on top of that, you will also get a Quest Scroll for any unsuccessful/successful breeding using the parents from the event.
These Quest Scrolls will work as a currency to advance through nodes in the new Quest Dungeon.

The new Quest Dungeon will follow special restrictions:

Each Node has a Roulette with 5 cells of the current Quest Monster or the Quest scrolls.
You can get up to 60 cells of the current Quest Monster Cells.

    Missing Quest Monsters?
In case you don’t have any Quest Monsters, you can catch up by visiting the Lab to get some of their cells.
IMPORTANT: The gem price is progressively decreasing, so the more you buy, the cheaper they’ll get.

    /Edit: Updated Restrictions
