Maybe reduce the qualifying points for the team from 113000 to something a bit more reasonable? Or increase the points offered during Attack Phase? As of now, there isn't much space for "strategising", having to go over tedious calculations and possibilites over and over again just to determine if we'll qualify for the team rewards, even if we do best our opponents. After all, with the current amount of points being dished out, its pretty impossible to have enough monsters to defend and attack aggressively enough to scrape a win, especially for mid level teams like ours who have been grouped in tier 3

@fox We've all stated time and again, here on the forum, and on Discord, that with the sudden disappearance of biweekly Survival dungeons, there is a monthly decrease of 24 gems AND 20 elementium, and the opportunity to get cells for newer and more useful Epics !!! I don't know how this can be so hard to grasp: the Survival dungeons used to occur alongside the other dungeons, so its gems and elementium rewards SHOULD have been taken into account during the rebalancing too !!!
Regarding the Caves issue, I don't know what tweaking is being done, but the trap rates or the revival costs need to be revised for the lesser, otherwise its nigh on unplayable except just entering it for the Daily Goals, which is not something you guys wanted, I'm sure

I happen to quite agree with most of the OP. I understand perfectly if a player chooses not to put in too much effort to get 25-50 gems in 2 weeks, that's a personal choice, but for those who DO WANT TO, the Premium Pass is quite a slap in the face, and almost forcing expenditure for maintaining competitive play in the Timed Challenges. Besides, 25-50 gems is not a very trivial amount, considering competitive play in wars and PvP requires rune slot unlocking, rune moving etc.

@monstrousmaniac we all do, but since that's not likely to happen, something might be better than nothing, right? I wouldn't have minded if the Nemeses were kept completely exclusive, like the VIPs were for a certain period of time, but making them available to all, and then calling it off again doesn't seem very nice to me... Now that we've been officially informed that Nemesis cells dungeons won't return, and dungeon of books (VIP version) mysteriously stopped occuring, can we have atleast a single event of cell sharing this festive season? I doubt that such an event would result in a HUGE influx of Nemeses into the game, for everyone with 75 cells or so would have to make choices and/or sacrifices to get only a few Nemeses of their choice. Besides, with the limited availability of elementium in the game, it'll surely give players long term goals to accomplish too. Kindly give this a thought, @fox @Tyroz

@marianne-van-es I'm sorry if anything I said made you feel slighted, that was absolutely not my intention !!!
But I will agree that SP's direct representatives have been awfully quiet lately. While I don't expect an answer to every tag or question or likewise, I thought it'd have been polite to explain some issues, like when I asked why certain team shop monster prices were increased. Clearly no amount of protest would stop the ever-increasing flood of chests (I specifically disapprove of Rune Chests appearing in the team shop instead of the actual runes), but I didn't expect the price hike of two of the most used team shop monsters of late, when it was stated around a week ago that PRICES WERE TO REMAIN SAME.
I've agreed more than once that heavy spenders deserve the advantage they enjoy, but that doesn't mean low spending or ftps have to remain being fodder for their OP monsters forever. Team Shop used to be a place where players could spend their hard earned War coins to get okay-to-decent monsters, which would in no way be a threat to 130 Nemeses and Warmasters, but would satisfy some players that they were GETTING SOMEWHERE PLAYING, but it no longer seems to be true... I know 150-200 coins is no big deal for a lot of players of old, but to the larger community, I believe it is... Ironically, the prices were low enough (at a measly 800 coins) for a pretty long time which enabled many oldtimer "elites" to get these monsters at 130, and then move on to the new meta monsters, while the ones who get penalised are players who joined later on, and who want to enjoy playing a game without buying their way through everything.
Apologies for the long rant, but I felt I needed to explain my statement, despite this being off-topic. It is not my intention to attack any player/ forum member; and I know that the ones whom I do feel a growing discontentment against, hardly care....

But someone surely thinks that putting in breeding events every now and then to "fill chapters" or whatever, appease the player base and makes them happy, even if to all intents and purposes its just like the chests- either you get lucky and draw a jackpot, or you walk away feeling your investment wasted. So, lets not deprive them of this happiness then... After all its a season for kindness and generosity πŸ˜‰

After all, I feel its very disheartening to the dedicated players if the only chance they had to complete book chapters was through PURE CHANCE, which is, well, hardly rewarding most of the time. Right now, the game doesn't offer a single event which can give satisfactory rewards for the effort required, and if things remain the way they are currently, TL books will just fall back into casual gameplay/long list of to-be-ignored-due-to-impossibility-of-completing-without-spending-tons. I have already explained previously how this event can be made a lot more appealing to the general playerbase, and I hope the feedback was duly noted and passed on...

Now I don't know how clumps are supposed to work, but I've been observing something for the past few days. I usually do my PvPs in a row (5-7), immediately followed by war attacks to understand things better and draw out 'randomness' as its called, and here's what I found: atleast 4/5 or 5/7 PvP matches are lost due to misses coming up at an extremely crucial point e.g. when a Xiron the Ruby/ Faraday is one shot away from dying, I (most conveniently for the enemy) "miss" the killing blow, even if its a single target one, and the enemy absolutely wastes no chance killing me, whether through normal/ special skills. I find it a bit ominous that a miss crops up at exactly the precise moment when its guranteed to make you lose.... The same must be true for those attacking my defence team too, judging from my defence log..
I'm not saying this IS intentional, but perhaps some small kink could have been introduced into the game's precision mechanics following the introduction of Sherezar, and might be worth a bit more digging.. and I'd welcome the playerbase to come up with more 'data' regarding this issue

@marianne-van-es valid arguments indeed, I agree totally !!! However, if we start ignoring whatever event we don't like, I'm afraid soon we'll be reduced to playing only dungeons when we feel like it, maybe occassionally PvP to break the boredom. Generating revenue is fine, and they deserve a fair bit, given the few interesting monsters that have come up recently, but trying to force it to come up from near about every aspect in-game is a tad too extreme imo, but then, its an individual thought, and entitled to disagreement πŸ™‚.
On another thought, your point on ignoring these events, if followed by a sufficiently large amount of the playerbase, might be the best way to bring senses into those who are in charge of marketing and generating revenue, but I'm concerned that it'll take several weeks, if not months to make them realise their error. What'll players do in the meantime? Log in to do dungeons, maybe breed a few monsters missing from collection? Take a break ?(hopefully temporary)

Bit off topic, but personally, I'd love to use rank 5 Team Shop monsters, IF they were available at a reasonable price... The way they are now, getting one to rank 5 will take so much time that they'll be absolutely outclassed by the new generation of monsters with better stats and battle mechanics, as the evolution of the game obviously demands. But I do agree with @David-ML - going into battle without the fear of being severly crippled or wiped out first turn is a welcome change. As for what @C0ntr1v3d said, weaker teams might lose some advantage in defending, but then, they might not have had the capacity to decide battles in the first place, and if they did so by virtue of multiple specials, I doubt the attacking player with a superior team and guranteed victory would feel very happy about it...

As @Fox so rightfully pointed out- SP's done some fairly good things recently, and I'm adding the recent 72h to the list, but this pales in comparison to what more could be done. If anything, expenses are OBSCENELY high in every aspect of the game right now- relics, rune slots, viable monsters for competitive gameplay, abundant trash chests- And what's worse, most everything worthwhile is now being offered for real money instead of gems, and the only reasonable place to spend gems right now seems to be buying Heroic Orbs during discount.
Honestly, if you want to cast out low spenders and free-to-plays, just make the app paid to download, instead of trying to raise mountainous walls in the path of progress...

True, there are lots of places for improvement in a number of aspects, but its also undeniable that SP has made some pretty generous moves in the past few months too, secondary to player feedback (free skill change, chests from the Special Progressives). I suppose I will stick to the game as long as I can maintain a competitive gameplay to my satisfaction, and I really look forward to seeing other rewarding events like Master of Paths and the Relic version of 72 H Challenge return soon and often. However, I do agree with the fact that possessed monsters controlled by the A.i mostly often recharge, but then, that serves the purpose of denial too, no? πŸ˜‰
Now, when the player's team is possessed, my personal observation has been that the response varies between recharge or attack, depending on the monster in question and possibly, its runes. For example, once possessed, my Faraday takes absolute delight in killing my own team, my Thalassa tries to freeze her own team- which of course fails, (mine or the enemy's) Samael most inconveniently resurrects a dead enemy/removes debuffs/heals/recharges, and my Fatid (along with some other Tough/ Hardened monsters, like WM Elvira) prefers to recharge or simply perform extra turn skills until the possession comes off. So you see, the responses are way too variable to come to a common conclusion.

@marianne-van-es The only TL book Ch-5 I completed TOTALLY ftp was the Cain one (Halloween). The next one was impossible, the third one was doable, but I was gem-poor at that time, so I settled for Ch-4. This one could have been done ftp too, if not for the heavy dependance on breeding events, which again I think will be somewhat counterproductive for both SP and the playerbase ofc, given the timing and the randomness... small time spenders looking for juicy rewards might be reluctant to keep spending on something not guranteed, while ftps likely have no chance at all unless they have heaps of gems saved from past months....
@Nynaevelan I totally happen to agree with what was said regarding the new format of mazes... I own a r2 Frosilka and a Helgudin r2 (who can be taken to r3 with the spare cells and 100 elementium I have) totally ftp and whatever coins I got lucky enough to get from wheels, since I never spend on respins (I feel that I'm too unlucky for even that, lol), sooo, maybe better luck next time? πŸ˜‰
@fox Maybe you guys should try and decide which part of your playerbase you want to get to fully enjoy the TL books?
