    The really interesting thing to me is that lower level chests have good results. The cutoff is the 2-4 chest.

    Earlier this week I got FOUR IV runes from my 2-4 chests. But as soon as you open up the 3-5 or higher chests, it's bare minimum almost every time. I am positive that if I kept track, my average haul would be higher for the 2-4 chests than the 3-5. It's kinda crazy.

    I get it. It's SP. They're gonna do what they do. I'd just argue that I would have WAY more fun with these dungeons if there was an element of randomness to what I won. Accepting and predicting the minimum turns it into an incredible grind, where I just do the math thinking "ok 2 dungeons per week times 4 dungeons per month, times 6 level 3 runes..." and then it hashes out to like, ok, 3 months of dungeons for a level 9 rune. Or whatever. It's demoralizing. Predictability is not a good quality for a grind game.

    @stein Definitely, getting the same opponent who just spanked you is incredibly irritating, especially when you've been forced to use a team that has no chance against them.

    I haven't gotten stuck reconnecting, but I've gotten the DESYNCHRONIZED error a couple of times, where the battle ends and it doesn't count as a win or a loss. It's happened most often when I was moments away from winning, and it's very frustrating for a certain victory to suddenly disappear.

    I almost wonder if it's happening when someone force closes the app as they're about to lose.

    See, that's crazy, LOL. My team is way stronger. Al Canine lv 110, Kaori lv 95, Cloud 105. I should have no problems. And I breezed straight through until this level, where all my status effects miss and I get wiped out immediately after. Now I'm extra curious to see who exactly I'm fighting, so I can report back.

    Since I play with max speed, yeah--maybe there's another effect in play alongside artifact that I'm not noticing. The bottom line is the guard down/CDA skill is a double miss, and Vendetta (sunburn/stun) also misses both. Next time the dungeon comes up I'll resurrect the thread so I can show exactly what effects are in play.

    It seems really hard to try and brute-force everyone with sheer strength and HP, but maybe that is what is required. Not sure what else to do.

    The problem is they are immune to all status effects, so even guard down and CDA don't work on them. It means my Al Canine is pretty much useless, and Kaori gets wiped 1st round since CDA doesn't deny them.

    I'll have to check what the enemy team is exactly next time it comes around, since it just passed.

    Is the key to switch runes to strength and health and just try to overpower them, instead of relying on speed and denying?

    I was working my way through Elvira dungeons, and got so close to getting her--until I got stopped by a team with the artifact trait. They wipe me extremely quickly since they're immune to status effects.

    My team of Al-Canine, Cloud, and Kaori is hopeless against em since they can't be denied. What's the right strategy here? Or what light monster should I target to replace Kaori or someone else?
